This has been my thinking of the preset market paths.

Aud is still better than USD......another credit rate cut is being talked about for the US , and that is said to be worse than the fiscal cliff.....

Seriously - it's hard to say, but judging by the reaction to very dismal jobs data, it may well go higher.
Market often picks one currency and keeps buying it while disregarding fundamentals. That has always been the case - the problem is, jpy no longer plays that way, so market has to pick another victim whose country it will crumble to pieces^^

If I were RBA, I would be very concerned right now. Yet, knowing RBA, they will ignore the data completely - say that it was a bad patch of data, but the expectations for the future data is very positive - and up AUD will go. Before you know it, Australia will enter major recession, while RBA will continue to be oblivious^^
