I think we will blast on thu and friday market is just preparing for it , i will go for a bear trap , in core 5 abv 98 it is a buy zone

last week core 5

93.361105.33886.887102.988

so it seems to be a case of putting the low for the week

I plan to buy at 97.50 zone after price breaks the 97 with sl at 94.50 . overall the trend should hold as EU has to hit 1.3770 .

The EA has reversed the position. Let's see how this goes.

My first basket has been stopped out at 20 pips.
I re-entered second basket at the next retracement.
It's floating at 300+ pips now. My account manager has trailed SL to 75 pips :-)

HAS on 1 HR - no color change till now , but your chart shows HAS color change r u using different HAS settings rather than 2/15/2/15

I fell in love with 2,10,2,10. I have tested it many times and i'm comfortable with it. KOS likes 2,15,2,15. Use what works for you.

now i kept 2/10/2/10 even then i did not get full RED color in HAS (half Red , half blue)

I'm in on the sell too (350pips+) with HAS settings 2-3-2-4. I'm only up to 120 pages in the thread and that was the H1 setting that I read last. Looking at Kos' chart above it would appear he's gone back to 2-15-2-15 on his H1.

That's cool Bishop! I like 2 15 2 15 because it keeps you out of a lot of whipsaw action compared to 2 3 2 4, but I'll have to backtest 2 10 2 10 precisely because of quick drops or rises like this that you miss out on a lot of pips.

Wish we had some indicator which tells us what the data tells us .

this week core 5 sell was at 104.90 below for tgt 100.38 and 97.34 beyond 97.34 things can go real mad.


we saw it hit 96.56 and then take the buy at 97.14 and now going for 101.70 & 104.75 beyond which it goes mad.

our HAS gave the sell at 99.89 which hit 96.56 and then it has given a bounce.


suggestion welcome if somebody can give an idea as to how to develop a indicator which does precisely this

Try this with the settings fast 10 slow 100 mamode 3

little quicker that Has

Play with the mamode makes more or less noise per TF

Would love to see this in the !TLE file for the T101 ea
my programming skill is not there

First thanks for this interresting thread and the contributors.
I quietly follow the thread and started playing with with my own method.

For information for those using Core5/H1, there's a nice butterfly pattern.
