Damn, wish I would have gotten in on that long HAS bounce today. Would've had some sweet pips! Oh well, there'll be another chance later on.

I'm still long since Jan 9th and I added a little more on that last pullback. I am trading it with the assumption that price will make it to the next major resistance near 160.00 on the chart. I think it will, since it has made a good strong break through the last major resistance around the 143.00 level. I'm still going to keep watching the 1h chart for a clear sign of a reversal before I get out. The 1D, 4h, and 1h HAS are all saying long, so I am staying long for now.

Well, maybe I spoke too soon. The news, or whatever it was, just took me out at BE on the last position. I went ahead and closed out with about 1300 pip gain. I'm OK with that. I'll stand aside for awhile and see what happens.

Anyone knows what is happening now??

The chart move down more than 600 pip in one hour....

no major news either....

Iam still in since 8jan... and holding... I try to follow H1 HAS which has not turn red....

lock for 2000pip.... (too bad it is still demo - but I treat it as real acc anyway).

I also do paper trade for adding position based on retrace.

This is the first thing I saw posted on FF news that might affect the market that way:

It really shook out a lot of traders, but if the trend is changing we will just follow it the other way and still do just fine.

yea... this will shock may traders... as an unexpected even....

this is what we are as trader afraid of... hiihihihihi

this event seems to be dumping currency on the market (too much supply then demand).

Hi people,its been awhile. Nice to see that the thread has not lost momentum. The UJ has started losing steam, the best sign of a reversal would be an EOD bearish candle,once the UJ starts to drop all the other yen pairs will follow suit. There's a lot of manipulation going on yen-wise.
Fyi: I saw a forecast for the UJ to hit 90. Either way, follow the trend.

Put 983 pips in the bank when half of my open positions (1/3 of the basket) turned and went short, and I am back up to positive 947.6 currently. Either my half short will be and turn long, or the other half will take profit and join the ride down

Trade Update

Is this the end of the trend or just a correction. I wish i had a crystal ball to tell.
a) Note the red horizontal line.
b) Price bounced off the line yesterday but broke through it with force today.
c) JPY crosses are seriously tanking. HAS is set to change colour
d) Lots of High impact news for GBP and USD today.

Market sentiment is slowly changing and i suspect big traders are taking profits from the last long move. There are 3 possibilities.
1. We retrace a little before resuming the uptrend
2. The market changes completely to bearish and the sell continues
3. This might just be a bear trap.

Whichever way you look at it, we simply follow the HAS signals. No interference with the strategy but clearly, there is high probability that the bears will win today.

I am still waiting for the pip counting tool. Anyone wants to help with that?
