A request to posters here, so many have recently been posted discussing some aspect of a trade or setup without specifying the pair under discussion, leaves me having to guess which chart to consult to understand the discussion.

) starts to think one (I ) has the hang of all this, the Master deftly crushes EGO with astute and poignant observation such as expressed in Strat's one-liner!Despite having been long just about every xxx/jpy pair (for the best part of a year in some cases), I couldn't win against my little people either in that I just couldn't bring myself to add - despite all the evidence. I fooled myself that I was on top of these little people after the first round with them - when price approached (former) resistance. I was too busy congratulating myself that I hadn't closed at former resistance to see the bigger picture and add as these pairs sliced through said resistance. At best, I won the first round but the liitle people, as Strat calls them, have been beating me senseless over the remaining 11 rounds!
Don't feel bad about not getting in BaliuxXx. If you managed to resist taking the shorts the little people were trying to talk you into, you can consider this a successful step in the correct direction "the Path" leads. As the saying goes: "Better to be out of a trade wishing you were in, than in a trade wishing you were out". There will be plenty more opportunities.
Back to the "Dr Joe Posts" - and a timely reminder from the "Master" that "95% of trading is ????"

If anyone went along with this free ride, now at 1.28, I would tighten the stops, as the intermarket AUD and EUR analysis has paused a bit, though the long term remains supportive.
Meanwhile 85 Dollar-Yen has been breached, as per the above chart. The 83.50 neckline remains a support.
Did someone say: "Free Ride" ?

For the lurkers and all the wannabes who haven't a clue what you are writing about, 95% of our success in trading is between our ears; it has nothing to do with technicals, charts, methods, systems etc., it is all about knowing how, when, where and why to use AND, NOT USE, the trading knowledge we have.
You can have Ph.Ds up your ying yang, be a Nobel Prize Winner, but if you can't control your Little People, you will never succeed at trading. In fact, the more successful you are in other areas of your life, the more difficult it is to transition into trading.
I say again that when I was unsuccessfully trading Futures & Commodities, the winners of the annual international competition were ex - Marines. They used their DISCIPLINE to follow rules and CONTROL their Little People.
Those that recognise their Little People are half way to success in trading. The "Get Rich Quick" idiots that frequent these forums looking for the latest and greatest method/system/black box/indicator etc., will just go around in circles chasing their tails until they eventually disappear up their own ass - and we have seen many do this just on this thread alone!

Having said the above, and, while still having a badly bruised EGO from the fact that I had been too stoopid to add,
that certainly hasn't prevented my "bigger people" from keeping a firm eye on the Big Boss, then dropping to the "little people" timeframes and stealing a few quickies:
Check the Big Bosses yourself!
It should be very clear why I was looking for a reaction on "little people" time frames, at the entries made.
Have closed several shorts already. So, what's my target on the remaining positions?
