My trade for today is a great example of patience - it took about a week to complete.

EU closed at a nice + 32 pips and the GU trade is still open, possibly UJ soon

Wow since yesterday , 2 losers, 1 BE trade that just took out my SL and then went stright to TP after wondering about for 10H... This is the fourth trade and I really hope this finally wins (no martingaling ofcourse)

First post to the thread, took these trades today...

I was swinging since yesterday on Usd/Chf (long) and Eur/Usd (short), both hit S/L this morning (London open).

Both went the other way on a quick 2nd breakout.

... also at the same time our favourite Gbp/Usd flashed a morning opportunity (1st breakout of a new CZ).

2 losses to start my morning, but I was able to put 3 fresh orders in without fear or hesitation.

Charts for today. FH, if you feel like commenting, are the CZ's of a proper standard ?

My first post here and first of all I would like to give my biggest thanks to FH for his generosity of sharing/guiding and teaching his system , Xux for his great and hard work on the indicator and ea and all the other members here. A friend told me about this threat a month ago and I have been reading and taking notes since. It took me a month to read the whole threat (especially since I am from the Netherlands and English is not my first language, so sometimes I had to read things double before I understood everything)

Although mentioned many times in the threat, but newcomers please read the threat from the beginning till the end and make notes and practise making Cz's along the way. It takes a long time, but it is extremely helpfull. The indicators and later the ea are extremely usefull, but are completely useless if you dont understand what they do. Also drawing your own CZ's is much more fun and rewarding.

Anyway took my frist tradeset yesterday and today on the eurusd which made me 32 pips profit. Still working on different sweetspots. A lot to experiment and study still.

Maybe I'm being a bit stupid and I've made some sort of schoolboy error but I would appreciate some assistance.

Today I opened a new account (in my wifes name, to take advantage of her CGT allowance) with Alpari uk. It's the same broker as i already use for my demo account thinking that I could just copy the templates from one folder to the other to load up my settings. The screenshots are taken after loading the exact same templates in both accounts. I did it a number of times to make sure i had done it correctly. I even loaded the settings manually.

Now I was expecting a bit of a difference due to maybe different feeds, spreads or whatever but the difference is astronomical, from a hugely profitable position to a loss making one. My question is have i just made a stupid error somewhere or does anyone else have this problem?

so same broker, same settings, totally different result.

EURJPY - what a break ! The results show.

When ever you load the indi onto a virgin platform you need to download the new brokers pip data. Use the F2 button and select the pairs you normally trade with, and go from there.

Another way to do the same thing is to open an M1 chart and manually scroll backwards at least 100 days.

heres another two screenshots. Different issue this time but i sense they might be related somehow. After the issue with the last pair I thought i would see if eurusd would have the same issues as gbpusd when I uploaded my template from my demo account. To my Joy the stats on those settings had trade 1 at 89% wins and trade 2 at 100%. about an hour later the stats had dropped to what you see in the first screenshot, an hour later still (just now) and the stats show as per screenshot 2. So from 90% wins to 65% in less than 2 hours. I even went in to change the settings to 101 days to make sure it wasn't just a cz dropping off at the beginning but turns out its not that.

wtf is going on in this Alpari account? I have zero confidence using Alpari live if this kind of thing happens and yet I've run the same demo account for over a year and not had any of these issues.

could it be anything to with me having 2 alpari mt4 accounts on my one machine? i have them in seperate folders but both on the same drive.

HXT, did you not see my last message? It is imperative that you import as much data/tick history as possible in order for the indi to work as intended. You can literally not have too much.

Nice CZ foming on EU

Hi FXH, I didn't see your post. It was probably me not refreshing my screen before starting the second one. Oddly I woke up this morning after having dreamt about changing the number of bars in the options window in my mt4 platform.

It should have clicked straight away, if you look at the number of cz's per week compared to the total number of cz's and number of days back it's clear that its inly looking at about 4 weeks data. This is the advantage of getting enough sleep at night, it prevents stupid mistakes like this one.
