My equity is increasing again and I have just calculated that I will earn about 3,70 % in a year if interest rates don't change. If I also earn a few percent from fluctuations in the exchange rates it would be much more than I can get in any bank.

Today I closed all the JPY positions because I'm worried that japans efforts to weaken their currency will succeed. The positions was closed for a big loss. I am also keeping an eye on Australias interest rate. If they continue to cut it I will probably close the AUD positions.

with all due respect, interest differentials has zero to do with currency movements in this global economic environment. current account means nothing too. it is rather unfortunate. Global money flows is based on risk...as in risk on, risk off. Or like shomari likes to say, RORO.
even worse, the vagaries of the politician and there hopium does a lot to move the market...
Where do you get the current account information for each country? And what do you do with the Euro current account?

I use tradingeconomics. I sold EUR against currencies which have a high interest rate or a positive current account balance for many months in a row. Europe has a positive current account balance at the moment but it isn't a consistent profit month after month like the currencies I have sold it against and I also think the problems in the eurozone is a reason to sell the euro.
