Yes, I've been in since January 2010. Had a bad drawdown about a year ago due to lack of risk control during the debt limit crisis. Clawing my way back up now with some refinements.

The Return on Equity (ROE) for October was -4%. This was the first $100+ month for interest income with total interest of just under $128!!

Hi, Scott.

2 days back, I had discovered that gasoline can be an ideal candidate for carry trade. Personally, I think that this is a better alternative to forex carry as gasoline is an important commodity and I know where is the baseline in the event of another crisis, ie. $1 during 2008 crisis. Since the major economies such as US, Europe and Japan is printing massive amount like there is no tomorrow, it will definitely drives up the prices of goods, ie. Food, Commodities, etc

The only downside is that the interest given is floating and tend to get lesser towards end of the month.

Correct as at 9 Nov 2012,

Total Margin = $9,960
Total Carry = $60 daily

My target would be $200 daily in order to achieve financial freedom and quit my job.

I can guide you along. First of all, you need to open an account with CMC market.
After the account is opened, go to the library and search for Gasoline Cash.
As a rough guide, for every $5 in your account, you can use $1 as your margin to buy Gasoline.

If you face any problem, just feel free to ask me.

Very cool.. i haf created a demo account.. it paid 15%p.a for buying gasoline cash. I have a question thou. does it pay u daily or yearly? and where to view it?

The interest is paid out daily.

Clicking the gasoline will bring pop out the window.

Click the right icon under carry cost will show you the interest based on past 30 days.

Hi,

My Gasoline live account trial is coming to the end. I willl release my position on 1 Mar.

Till date, the capital gain is about 75% margin. With the interest collected, almost add up to 100% margin.

For those who are interested, the next window will be in Nov.

Oh, look! The interface makes more sense this month. Yay!

The big booked loss was from a switch out of HUF into ZAR after Hungary reduced its interest rates. It's partially offset by the drop in open loss.
