However, is this what you were talking about? While this is the 1h, I feel this is what you are talking about. Where the points meet next week? However, notice the random line? How do you know price is making a triangle? How do you know price isn't making a diamond/rectangle/rhombus?

Your upper line is fine, but the lower line is off - that is, that would be my triangle.

The key point is not shape, but the support/resistance lines. I like to draw these in trend-like fashion, while others primarily rely on horizontal supply/demand zones (previous tops/bottoms)

I did it. I waited patiently, set a sell limit at 1.05550 and hey, presto!! - it was all about the 1H and 4H TF that kept telling me that higher days are still ahead - with stochastic/RSI supports.

I even risked a scandalously undisclosable, high percentage of my whole account - which isn't much to start wit - broke it all up into mini lot...

Earlier on in the day, I closed my longs at 1.0547X - I managed to pull away from my SL before it then reached my said TP.

I then shorted at 1.5550 pending sell limit.
