Yes, but there should be a "permanent" square - the "natural vibration" of the financial product's price, influenced by supply and demand.

in mt5 everything is fine, I personally find tradeinterceptor best for free drawing, but doesn't show much of a historical data

there is each, product has its own vibration if you will is it x=1 y=1 shrugs

another thing supply and demand is a myth im thinking, these points everyone calls supply and demand or support and resistance are really no more than a place where the market makers decide to move a market from and to, all are artificial man made and subject to destruction when they deem fit to collect/project a market beyond said points under human conditions being revealed day to day week to week and year to year. Market makers are just that.

supply/demand = profit taking and accumulation

yep, but our one-two is not always the specific market's one-two, and market makers - they are natural for the market, so they should be on the right side of the angle

haha. no doubt. Context is everything. It's also been noted that WD Gann did NOT have a good working relationship with his son. His son did not want to put in the effort to learn Gann's methods and, of course in typical Gann fashion, Daddy didn't spoon feed his kid. I also recall something about how his kid was all p****y hurt because Daddy wouldn't finance him either.

Whether Gann actually made the legendary millions or not is beside the point. Analysis and trading are not one and the same. Just because Gann could have predicted moves with accuracy doesn't mean he traded them well. Maybe he sucked at actual trade execution. But again.. besides the point. The techniques and methods are definitely unique and careful study can yield very accurate analysis.

I have thought a lot about Mr. Gann's words "everything has width, height and lenght" in the courses, what the minor fluctuations mean, how exactly market makers/liquidity providers make money, balance and imbalance/trend, how exactly supply and demand move the prices, and how is all this connected.
@Orionsway - by supply and demand I mean buying and selling, more like "the flow of the market" than s/r lines
@benf - a son sees his father with different eyes than all other people, all those airplanes and lincolns are not а poor writer's properties

If we use the PA of the HiLo Activator of the daily chart we see that price is passed over BuyStop line.

There UPTREND. He has formed DOWNSLOPE and from yesterday NeutralSlope. At break above yesterday's high - 3014 will be a UPSLOPE and Buy signal. The stop is underneath the HiLo - 2897.
If today the price go above 3014, tomorrow I'll be able to build a new bullish fan from 2877.

If so, is it limited to a particular period of time (week, day) or it's triggered over random periods in length?

The numbers indicate what is the probability the price to be lower than the corresponding level.
For example. Now you can sell with 87.90% probability on 17.12. the price to be below 3062.

I have not shared my trading reason before reading Mr. Gann - intraday candlestick surveillance mode... still use it - one more point of view always has value
