DB, I could not agree more with you on this. RBA lowered rate .25 and aud:usd didn't really care. But last night when bad import/export news came out of China, WOW! In years past that would have dropped the aud:usd, especially after a rate cut. I got out with 12 pips. It would seem that the aussie has become a De-facto reserve currency of sorts. Ben has flooded the world with to many Benjamins.

I asked my broker if i can have 1 mil leverage but they said only 200 for me.

market expect 50bps cut.. with only 25bps cut, aud rallied.
+ surprised dropped in unemployment, sent aud higher
+ china import data was flat, not much change to aud. you can ignore export.

Thanks for your comments. My main point was that the market paths were preset longtime ago. In fact, I have tried to project the events by using EWP with a reversed thinking method.
