imho... it will touch 1.0400-1.038 before it can touch 1.0500... why? from 7/11/2011 till to day .aud/usd already 3 times fail to touch 1.0500.. just my 2cent

In my opinion a bullish pinbar is an exceptional confirmation to back up whatever other criteria one has (whether they be fibs, stochs, RSI's or whatever).

I wouldn't trade a monthly pinbar on its own, I just don't have the patience to wait another 2 or 3 months to cash out... however, if I am looking to enter a daytrade and I see a bullish pinbar confirming on a higher timeframe, it will sway my decision greatly.
1 pinbar and you ignore other indicators including previous high and structure support..

What if the 4h is near a top, what if a 1h is topping, what if the 15m is topping, what if the 5m topped, what if the 1m topped and then retested but did not break the top, it continues lower from there? What if there is a no risk trade out there? Because there are no risk trades, most people don't spend the time to look for them. they are lost in fibs and R/S lines, Fear and greed takes over....

No risk is not possible once capital is committed there's always a risk of losing. Low risk is a different story but no risk impossible.
