I wonder how low this correction will go. If all the bears can manage after yesterday is a flat correction of 30 pips from 1.047 and it exceeds the 1.047 in the next few days without going lower than 1.0438 then I'm going to revise my tp from 1.051 zone to the macro descending trendline @ 1.055 - 1.057. (Though will still take half off @ 1.051 and buy again on retrace)

Also Bond market is aggregated with each asset. Oil is joker card and is only use as "if oil is supporting the move or not"

ABS just released a new data series

Provides preliminary quarterly estimates of goods and services data including preliminary quarterly estimates of Chain Volume Measures for goods debits. Preliminary seasonally adjusted quarterly balance on goods and services are compared to the sum of seasonally adjusted balances for the three months of the quarter.

Former Soviet republic Azerbaijan has become the latest foreign nation to begin buying Australian government bonds, adding credence to claims from the International Monetary Fund that the Australian dollar has become a safe-haven currency, according to The Wall Street Journal.
According to the newspaper, the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's $US33 billion ($A31.9 billion) dollar sovereign-wealth fund, has been buying Australian bonds since July.
Market data shows the value of the Australian dollar rose by 3.4 per cent during the month.
"The main purpose of these investments made within Sofaz's investment policy is diversification of its currency basket," the fund told the

WSJ. "Additionally, Sofaz is expecting these investments to enhance its return in the light of extremely low-yield environment in US and European financial markets."

crazy. so RBA has to sell some aussie dollars now to keep the balance. you think foreign investors buying australian bonds would keep the australian corporate community happy

If you look at AUDUSD under 1 Day time frame it is currently on a crucial resistance level 1.0475 and a technical up trend forming .

In addition several Long Term and Short Term (Wave) indicators in various timeframes are pointing up while only stochastic points overbought.

Best see how the 1.0475 holds and see if a buy is a good move now.

Sitting at the top support of the fib wall since breaking out on Friday. Could be interesting as AU futures failed on a fib retrace Im sitting on AUD/JPY long from 85.60 and AUD/USD short from friday and added overnight near 80 . So until a trend continues in A/J or AUD/USD breaks down I will hold both and close one side for the main move lower or higher

for those long aud or es EOD thank senator Harry Reid for is encouraging comments on talks.


He was disappointed in the lack of progress made so far this week and wham the market took it and ran. I mentioned this last week US politics are notorious in taking it to the brink and doing everything last second lets see if this builds momentum tomorrow
