Burnzmeister, help me code this into an EA. I am also Programmer, if we can get the EA to work, we can take out the emotion a lot.

What you say?

Hey koosvdh,

To be honest, I don't have any spare time to create an EA.

May I ask, why do you want to create one?

You're right. A bad trade. I also sold directly into the rising side of a wedge!

Got out for +27 pips. I had this one open overnight. I woke up at 3am worried that the market was going to turn against me, but I had already locked in 15 pips. What the hell is wrong with me? I need to learn to relax! Anyone got any pointers on how to chill the hell out?

Kudos to koosvd for spotting this setup.

Cheers!

thought you guys might be interested this is a couple trades i have following over the past couple days i know its not a recommended pair but it just looked so sexy i had to jump in. the arrows if you can see them are where i got in at the rebound an the cross is where got out. any feedback would be swell

Note: ignore the breakout trading boxes using it for my university topics in algorithms and practicing code. Including the yellow line on the left after the breakout box don't get confused peoples. Only check red arrows on right above rebounds

Would be easy if you could mark the entry & exit more visually... however the red arrow shows that you have entered at the engulfing/OB with a potential pullback...

Good ones bro

Although I have just joined FF, I think that your trading style is great and certainly does have an edge. I have traded for several years now- and probably had the same experience as many others on here.

I have been inspired by Curtis Faith's book, ' The Way of The Turtle' and I quote from the book....

"With the Turtle Way, market actions are identified that indicate opportunities arising from these consistent human traits"

"The secret of trading and the Turtles' success is that you can trade successfully by using ideas and concepts that are well known and have
been around for years. But you have to follow those rules consistently"

"Over the years I kept finding evidence that emotional and psychological strength are the most important ingredients in successful trading"

I follow a very system to this thread, thank you so much FX- Pro for sharing. I can hopefully share my system when I move from a 'rookie member'

What I would say is that compounding is king. Have a low target and be consistent. My target is only 20 pips per day which I reach most days easily.

This is obviously my own experience, but without people willing to share like FX- Pro, the majority of us would get nowhere! I just cannot understand why people criticise people's posts

Welcome to the thread Philampm,

I can see your experience from your words....

About compounding - A trader need abundant experience for few things like...

> Compounding
> Adding Position to the existing trades.
> Holding position (Swing)

I'm good at holding position (Swing)... but of late I don't see a prolonged trend in any of the pairs i trade, this is very usual in the last Quarter of every year (Oct, Nov & Dec), your inputs/thoughts on compounding will very much help those newbies here... and me as well

for other folks here -:

I know that we are very restricted / limited triggers on this method.... I received many PMs on this...

I've been trading like this for years.... lets trade the way it is... if you want to create a record in taking trades... then this is not the thread for you...

You know... we can make good money just by 2 or 3 trades a month.... if you know your edge...

however I'm sorry that, i couldn't spend much time on this thread... I have a day job + trading.... & most importantly MY FAMILY... too busy huh..

But soon I will get on to full-time trading... then I will spend more time here....

Cheers,
FX-Pro

This is one of the Best trigger for Re-Entry type... because

> A proper Pull back from the preceding trend
> Reject from a support Area
> an Outside bar gave the trigger

but dint hold it for long as the price has reached the potential resistance on daily...

So closed just for 17 Pips... which actually went up to 35 Pips...

Cheers,

Thanks and very true FX- Pro. You have spent a lot of time on this thread which is brilliant.

I started with £1.00 per pip aiming for 20 pips per day.

At £2.00 per pip thats £200.00 per week

If you have that edge, all you need to trade is £10.00 per pip, which is £200.00 per day or £1000.00 per week!

It may not make you rich, but without greed give you a very comfortable living indeed.

I think your system certainly has an edge. It's simplicity is the main thing and this is essential. I tend not to worry about resistance/ support etc. The more analysis I try to do, the less success I seem to have!!

Ok, so for re-entry your not really looking at the 72ema anymore? But more focusing on s/r levels and price action?
