good morning, I'm so glad my EU shorts are old and from much higher levels, because I'm sure this USDOLLAR movement in relation to EU would have killed me massively otherwise, looking @ UJ keep thinking Japan is the cause of this

Have you considered finding a price point earlier on...
and note the price such as 1.1234 and if it hits it your out...
price goes to 1.2345 and you re-enter when its on the way back down

at the same price you exited?

It would have to be clear to you something changed or.... it could whip back around... but you could always look to re-enter on a pullback of some sort. Depends how much stress the intra-trade DD causes.

Trading volumes must be taking a huge knock and the barstarts are obviously feeling it.

Trading opportunities within a small daily trading range are just not there if you daytrade ...like most..(speculating)

There was quite a battle at 2749/50...it seems it may cracked the lid.

5 day ADR at 68 pips at present

We have not seen such small , crappy ranges in a long time.

Rather than have the market come against you.. close the position. Re-enter later the same qty at the same price once it comes back.

Using today as an example I bought at 1.2725...assuming you had the same feelings... you would have closed your short at 1.2725... booked the profit and waited to re-enter the short. #1 at a higher price or after the correction was over.... at 1.2725... the price you closed it at. Net $ impact zero to +++$
