Trading is hard, if you put enough time, patience and effort in it, you could become profitable on steady basis. To become good in something you need to put in at least 10,000 hours.

Now, the Aussie is moving up matching my projection. Moved the SL one pip above the entry. Will let it run for a while. This will be a great trade.

During last drop, people were scared. It's normal. Some people wanted to short at that low. It's not normal.

I am actually overtrading right now. Unless I view this as the next day trading, than I am ok. lol
The short today (wednesday euro land) was more than enough to hit daily target. So I should be asleep and getting ready for tomorrow. That I am even considering that I am trading for Thursday now is just plain lying to myself

Btw, so I have read a few times. And that 10.000 hours is for everything in life where you want to be an expert.
I might be happy if I just passed the 1000 hours.

You so right there, im new to FX started about 2 weeks before my first post here, been putting in 12 hours a day since then, just within the last few days have I seen a bit of light here.

On the EurUsd i have left it alone for a month except the 2 past days have been nice, maybe the little light i got helped, + i totally stopped reading news and the threads on it.

This is my understanding. Having trading knowledge without vision cannot win in the Forex markets. Having correct vision without EM/guts will not become a great trader. IMO

I did almost crapped my pants seeing my eurusd position drop. But was ok with the audusd drop.

DB, this is a profound comment. Overtrading is what kills most traders. It took me a while to truly understand this.

While I was writing, the Aussie baby shoots up 10 pips in less than one minute. Is this a sign of weakness and going to drop hard?
