Why so negative? I think its because of fundamentals across the globe. People don't see anyway out except for hard cuts that will destroy jobs and investment. Most economies are riddled in public and private debt stalling growth and creating harsh environments while governments are failing to fix the issue. Correlations are disappearing, and people who have counted on that are in shock.

i think people think too much in terms of eu and us beeing the world. EU is net exporter. If they disappear or engage in some sort of ethnic cleansing, that will not harm much global economy. Someone else will benefit from that.

US looks like to me is exporter as well and same applies.

It is asia where things will move ahead, until we hit limits of environment sustainability. And not only china or india.

pending sell t/l break on usdcad. As I cant buy china shares with stop below 2000, will play every riskon technical signal till index falls below 2000. I am not chartist really, but i have no other plan B.

I got out of my a/u longs last night and will stay flat until we get a direction. there are better pairs to trade at the moment imho. I missed my first TP of 45 on e/a by 1 pip, I made 28 on the 1st and have brought the stop up on the other 2. Further downside I think.

Risk Off Risk Off but Aussie holds?? It cant be ? Surely not ?
It maybe too premature but I think we are seeing the Aussie growing some legs and perhaps starting to become the swiss of the south.

EUR/AUD has broken they key 1.2200-30 support area with not much fan fare which shows where have all the punters gone?

GBP/AUD approaching 1.5200 support and a decisive break could see a test of new hysterical lows (thats for my pommy mates)

AUD/JPY has nudged up ever so slightly but thats the yen for ya.

The only one holding its own against the AUD is the Kiwi.. and you need a PhD in Astrophysics to work out that cross.
