MB trading is not paying for limitorders when trading microlots.

I have thousands of trades where I have not received any payment.
I have tried for a very long time to get a response from the support via chat, mail and ticket, but I get no answers.
I even tried to mail Justin, but he has not replyed to my mail.
Why do MB trading not paying for limitordes when trading microlots in some pairs?
For example:
Mb trading do not pay for limitorders in these pairs when trading microlots:

USD/CAD, USD/JPY, NZD/USD, USD/SEK


It is a false statement when MB trading saying that they are paying for limits.
They do NOT when trading microlots!

I have reports to back this up!

Why do they not fix this even after bringing this up to support over and over again?

Can you tell me where you have mailed me? I haven’t seen anything along these lines. Please private message me your account number and I will look into it. If you are trading a single microlot, you might not be getting paid because the payment isn’t even a penny. Beyond that, we definitely pay for limit orders.

It's annoying that on MB Trading UK website, when I click the live chat button, apart from Metatrader support, all others are ONLINE in green colour but I have to leave a message. I felt I was cheated. What's the point they are showing "online" but I have to leave a message???

Can you guys fix this ASAP?

Aren't they shutting down the UK part now? At the end of the month I believe.

Why not instead of doing it per order, you do it at the end of the day for the total volume of limit orders filled?

Because say I put in 100 orders of 1000, because each 1000 order receives less than a penny, there will no pay for limits on this despite providing 100k of liquidity.

Also, if I put in an order for 2000, or 3000 say, which would give a penny/cent, then sometimes the platform will fill it in 2 or 3 trades of 1000, so that again, there is no pay for limits.
Also I'd like to know if you have 'last look' on MB Trading. My impression from trading on the platform is that you do.

Hello...can anyone answer the following ..my demo trade "youtrader 4" (english mt4) on today's 4hr chart shows a gap up on AUD/USD from .089301 to 1.03880, but my MB live account just reflect a bear bar from 1.04367 to 1.03763..any explanation??

Short answer: Its just a bad tick.

Long answer:

The platform goes out and pulls historical data in to the platform for charting. From time to time on all platforms, all brokers and all data feeds, a bad tick occurs... a false price point that when left unfiltered will chart an incorrect bar, as the platform simply charts whatever prices given it.

Since the demo platform is the least important... no one has real money riding on it,... it will get less attention than the real money platform, and bad ticks will be less likely to caught as they occur and take longer to fix.

A better platform, like NinjaTrader for example, gives the user control over the historical data. NinjaTrader allows the user to filter bad ticks per whatever settings the user desires, and gives the user the ability to edit each tick in a local historical database. So when this happens to me, I don't have to rely on MB to do anything, I fix it myself in NinjaTrader.

With MT4 you are at the mercy of MB and they will fix it when they have time....

Classic. I don't want to speak for wanna, but I have explained myself many times on these boards. I was an EFX fan and remain an MBT fan. Used them for years with minimal issues. I follow only this thread on FF so I can see what is happening with them. I don't spend my life posting on forums. I do get emailed every post and I reply when I feel like it. Call me (and many others) a cheerleader, that's fine. But then again, a lot of the people that complain are not legit. At least I am a real trader that uses MBT.

I understand what you are saying. However, the system was designed to give everyone immediate payment as they traded, which, if you think about it, is something that no other broker does. So now, you’re trying to shoot a hole in what was supposed to be an advantage. I can’t account for every trade that is so small that the rebate adds up to less than a penny. To take an end of day total is an interesting thought, but just not how we went about this from the start. We were thinking about traders and giving them the credit as they went. I don’t mean to belittle someone trading a micro, but that just isn’t how the system was designed. On the one hand, you have people that still believe that the banks don’t take microlot orders. On the other hand, now we have people saying that they aren’t getting paid enough when they trade microlots.

Our system works like this. You get paid $0.50 per 100,000 traded in real-time at the time of the trade for Limit orders that sit on the EXN and get executed. That’s what we state, and we think it is very compelling.

Hmmm, you were thinking of traders, yet designed the system to work so that they would get paid less than what is advertised? Something doesn't quite make sense there.

The point is not so much whether it is 1000 or 10000, the point is the system doesn't work as advertised. It is entirely possible for someone to put in a 10k order, and get filled for 10 different orders of 1k, and receive nothing, likewise for a 100k order, it can be partially filled in several trades, giving a total that is less than $.50, which I'm sure you'd agree. Therefore I suggested an improvement

Yes MB trading pays people for providing liquidity, which was an excellent idea, and attracted a lot of customers I'm sure. But doing one thing good, doesn't mean suggestions for improvement can't be made, or criticisms in other areas shouldn't be considered.


Yes, I still want to know if you have a 'last look' in MB Trading. You can google it, although I'm surprised you haven't heard the term. But basically if I submit a market order to buy, can the liquidity provider have a last look and reject the order at the ask price (despite it being displayed as an ask on your platform,, and immediately shift their ask price further away?

MBT pays traders to add liquidity. For 99% of the market participants, a 1000 micro lot is not liquidity. Having multiple orders at different prices for 1000s is not liquidity. Many MT4 brokers don't even accept orders below 10,000 lots. Just end this "trolling" about 1000 lots. If my orders get partialed for 1000s, I usually get irate. It's garbage. If you are a small trader, just beginning, you probably don't even belong with an ECN.

Last look derives from "bucket shops" or aggregate collectors viewing and possibly rejecting orders, or in an ECN's case...
the liquidity provider may have "last look" if the order wasn't matched by the broker and not fill it.

All I can say, is that the high-frequency components of the major liquidity providers quoted markets are very fast.
I still get fills better than my limit price in fast markets all the time. This happens on Pay for Limits and the Free EXN platform.

Could the speed be deceptively "last look-ish"? I suppose.
But if that were the case, I wouldn't get price improvements so often.

MB Trading's Navigator Pro is probably the most fair platform for short-term traders who cannot yet get a prime brokerage account.

Spend time with the Navigator Pro platform and its level 2 quoted market.
If you are trading with MT4, then it just doesn't matter. It's inefficient and slow.

Look, don't call it trolling just because you don't get the point.

I partly agree with you that getting filled in 1000's is annoying, but that actually indicates something to you, which is that the liquidity is very low there. It means that when you're saying 99% of participants, you're not talking about 99% of MB trading participants, because a lot of them are trading amounts of this size. I've watched one normal lot (100k) of my limit order sitting there, and get filled in individual 1000's, then 3000, then 14000 or some other random number etc (and I don't get paid what the advertisement claims I should)? Do you disagree with this? Simple yes or no?

So then you've provided 100k liquidity and not been paid what's agreed. In my opinion they should get rid of anything sub 10k in terms of orders. But with orders of 1000, I guess that means the spread is superficially tight at times.

There are much larger problems with MB trading than this, but it's still worth pointing out to get it fixed. And if they're willing to fix this, perhaps they'll fix other issues. In my time trading with MB trading, I've had orders not being filled, despite price moving through there (on MB Trading's own platform as well as the entire market). I've had regular platform freezes at key news times. I've had MB Pro desktop actually charging me over several days, when I provided liquidity, for which I contacted them, and eventually was refunded.

And most recently I've had my orders 'hover' and waiting for several seconds and then getting filled at worse prices than they should have been. This is why I ask about last look, because I've observed some unusual behaviour.

To be clear, they're still better than a lot of bucketshops. But they've still got a long way to go in terms of improvement my opinion
