During Obama's watch last four years, the USD has plunged to the historic low against the Aussie. Another 4 years of Obama may bring the USD to the floor. IMO

The dollar itself has been in a range under Obama. Bush actually had a cheaper dollar than Obama.

What's weird is that the dollar futures completely skips the month of November in '08...

AUD/USD looks to be in wave 3 currently . I am currently long AUD/JPY from 83.4 my TP is 85.2 which actually might be conservative. AUD/JPY looks to be in wave 5 now.

I wouldn't think 1.04 is a major R. 1.0444 may be.

As to who will be the headwind to the Aussie, I guess it may not be that clear at this point. Unlike the US stocks which will be affected by Romney or Obama, this pair is also hinged on global issues like China and EU.

Based on etabeta's links, there are contradicting views. IMO, if the previous pattern was complete then the new pattern will be in control regardless of who is elected.
