I agree with Doktor3. Market is not random but it randomly assigns patterns into chart. After spending thousand of hourly to study price behaviour, reading books, done many analysis and backtesting, it does has fixed pattern which is repeating any of the day. OK, i am sharing here is the daily case. Total have 8 patterns for daily rising and dropping case (GMT 0000 to 2359) . So please look at below picture, 2 fixed patterns for dropping case.
2 candlestick bars = 1 day each
So if for an uptrend, we could entry our trade for all daily low price. Picture explain everything
If you want to know more about, please look into my PDF statistical analysis at one of my thread "My Unique Analysis". It a long story to explain here. After reading, you need to digest the info by yourself as i am not telling too direct.
So about this thread system, i think we could entry either at low price or break previous day high price for uptrend scenario. For downtrend, entry either at high price or break previous day low price.
Now i am trying to apply renko bar for this trading case because it is a good visualization. Anywhere, if someone could code this EA would be great.

i like your experience and edge that u have, which is how u manage to develop ur own trading plan and system of how to handle the market, that's one part of the strategy i have always been using, but will it be possible for u to perform it on a live account and link it, for that it will inspire others truly

Great trading! I also use the 5 min chart and trade very similar to you. Congrats on going live! I hope you continue to post results but leave out the money part.

I just started and so far doing good but in next 2 weeks i wont be trading much due to low volatility and holidays. doktor3:
