The same happened to my beloved cat 3 years ago... I thought, "look, you're turning 11... who would have thought after how we started out?" Just a couple of weeks later... cancer in the mouth, dead.

give me a couple of grands, and I'd buy the whole store.
Mac Mini is the only one I've never bought...and this generation looks GREAT! Indeed...one of everything, please. Very cool machines.
Was reading today that they may cut Intels in the not so VERY far away future. Nothing immediate, obviously, but, I think they've spent about 750 million acquiring chip manufacturers over the last year or so. Their A6X is already getting pretty freaky powerful for something that fits in one hand. A ways to go yet, but...will probably drive laptops eventually.

Actually, I don't care what powers the machines, as long as I can do whatever I want. But abandoning Intel doesn't sound too good, kind of isolating Apple again.
They'd want to watch that rumor with Intel, too. They may find themselves up against some crazy Intel, Google, Samsung, Adobe monster pretty quick. Oh wait...that's already kind of happening.

What about those of us that sat for five hours in a 20 pip range. At least you've seen a 30 pip range since dragging your arse out of bed.

OSX rules, for me anyway. Give an Apple-device an invisible shield, don't spill any liquid and you got a good device. When I look at those other Notebooks or even desktop cases... I can only shake my head.

Talk of abandoning Intel freaks me out...today, anyway...because it just seems like another step closer to "disposable" toys...er, tools. These processors work in our iPads/phones/pods...blah, blah, blah...so now WE'RE telling YOU...they are good enough for our laptops...and desktops, too.
Ah well...we'll see where it gets to, I suppose. Maybe they'll be coffee-proof by then?
