As far as the trading goes, in the weekly chart, a grave stone was formed. In the daily, a bearish engulfing candle was recorded.

Both candles provide the Post-Roller Coaster phenomena. I hope my internet service resumes and won't miss the upcoming PA.

My focus is on the daily ADX. I mentioned the same thing before the storm. The Aussie had been dragged higher by the Bulls. But, the time is up, I see a breakdown on the verge now. IMO

Romney wins the election, RBA rate cut and the US earning bad news will drive the Aussie to this destiny next week or during the following week. IMO

Given the good numbers from China during the weekend, we might see a bit of a retrace - though there's no doubt that the weekly candle is very bearish.

I agree. we might see a bit of a retrace. It maybe a chance to reenter or to add to the short positions. IMO

During last few days without power and internet services, I have been think about the nature of the trading. What if there are no charts, no indicators, no candles and no nothing, would we be able to trade?

Trading has been an important component of human civilizations. In the ancient times, people traded all the time. How did they trade? This is a good subject to dig into. Some people traded better than others at those times. What did they apply or see during the trading.

The trading involves some instinct to make decisions. I heard some people said that the feelings cannot be relied in trading. But, what were the decision making processes that those great traders in the ancient times applied?

Were that fundamentals? Might be. However, I believe there was something invisible which made some traders performed better than others. That invisible thing is the key to the success of trading in my opinion.

Old days - no bots playing the part of banks. Winners? The ones with the biggest account and biggest influence on other traders. Finally, inside traders.

If Romney wins the elections, I have no doubt that AUD will plummet along with other currencies, other than USD. Not sure about CAD though - it's taking on the role of JPY these days^^

Romney's tightening policy will make the USD fly. But, Obama will be in the White House for another 3 months, the Aussie may move up after initial shock waves.
