Hi Boophaty,

Was reading the thread and I just saw your reply.
You don't trade online asian breakout only but also trendlines breakout then ?

Here is a trade I took last friday on e/u (m15 chart) with a london open breakout.
I entered with 0.5% on the first break and loaded 1.5% on the retest.

No I trade breakouts I dont care if its Asian London or US.. I trade breakouts! Mostly I trade the London breakout... I showed the trend lines to show you don't need anything to trade breakouts.. They happen everyday.. i added the trend lines in to show the direction of the trend... If I do a reversal I have to make damn sure Im going to make at least 20 pips from it or its a no trade... To be honest with you if you are starting out with an account of less than 5k fu*k the 2% rule... This is how small traders make it big! You have to know what you are doing.

Thx. About MM, I like to keep strict my 0.5 to 2% whatever account size. Of course big account with a 0.5% risk gives a bunch of money (per day).

About your previous trade, I think it was a bit ambitious but finally it worked pretty well. Great !
If you entered on the next candle after the break, this could be easily bounced back to support zone around 2229.
Well, that's my toughts on this. E/U made some lower highs, higher lows so in a triangle pattern. Means for me it can go everywhere, north or south pretty quick and the pairs trade in the middle of the support/resistance zone (red/blue lines).

Where was you sl ? Last low 2295 ?

You know trading this way for years its really just second nature... As far as bouncing back I like to look at a few candles that I call power hour candles... they will show you what direction the trend is going in.. I DO take losses.. I have tried for years to get this 100% but I haven't yet... My SL various from trade to trade.. typical I keep my SL at least around 10-15 pips.. IF I'm wrong I went the wrong way and re enter the correct way to gain my pips back.. sometimes I have to go as high as 20-30 SL to make 40-60 pips... Yes EUR/USD is going every where... Everywhere will at least give you 20 pips!!

These trades I make are not luck of the draw.. they happen every single day! I Don't even think about trades bouncing back .. you can't.. either your right or your wrong... If your right you made some good pips.. If not get your as$ in the other direction to make up what you lost ... lol

It's never too late ... I'm here to show you true breakouts... price will probably go up till the till the 1.25345 area, but we will be prepaid to trade around the 5:00 candle...

Thanks boopathy for your replies! they are great. I only trade breakouts on the gpbusd at the moment. I use indicators on the eurusd when i day trade. My Risk:Reward ratio on breakouts is 1:2 plus a few extra pippies. SL can range from 15-40 pips. Im interested in your eurusd breakout method as i often struggle to make breakouts profitable on the eurusd but seem to be fine on the gbpusd

Ha that's funny I could never trade the breakouts on the GBP for some reason.. I've only really studied the EUR pairs... Yeah I don't use indicators, but I do use price lines S/R S/D.... I do have a box breakout method for the us open that I traded for years... updated the hours to be traded and the timeframe... non the less very profitable if used with S/R.. Gotta run for a bit but yeah I'll post it here.. it's not quite the 7-9 but hey It's a breakout ..lol

Hey Joel how are you? HAha it's not that I'm bored.. OK What I wanna do is show you how I transformed from using indicators to trading pure price.. I want to be able to show you where these big bullies are hiding out and placing there trades! ... Indicators... I honestly find them useless, but I will share 3 indicators that started it for me.. Non of these are mine.. they are just updated indicators to date i guess..

I don't want to post them here as they having nothing to do with the 7-9 bigdog... that and I don't wanna confuse people so I will post them in my trading journal boophaty

I'm sorry to all that have sent me a msg and haven't responded to, but I will get this going for you guys.. lol
