You say you switched broker? May I ask why? And from where? And to whom?

THE EU has been range-bound for a couple of days. However, we've just seen a relatively strong momentum PAC bouncing from the 200 EMA and intersecting the 12 and 72 EMAs.

We have a nice obvious TP level at the strong support at 1.2895. I tend to place my stops 1 pip above/below the closest EMA. So I have a potential TP:SL of 2:1, which isn't much, but this looks like a strong setup to me.

What do you guys think?

your stop loss could be hit if the price stays in his downtrendchannel (older chart)

realllly impressive to see your result for oct.
the number of trades is dazzling for a month worth trades.
i guess you really see the "clear opportunities" when i see "dozens" of trades even per day.

my question is what is your approx. tp and sl?
and how do you find the trades? setups ( i see many setups every day)?
im sure you have a good quality of filter for trades, whether to go in or not.

It's Non-Farm Payrolls news day and many a time the markets seem to make you think you should be watching paint dry on this day until the news is released.


Jhfx................maybe you should post a few charts as you must be doing something wrong if you can see dozens of trades per day. The system when initially posted by FX-Pro was ONLY for AUD / USD and it has only been over the duration of this thread where he has looked at a few other currencies. In Post # 1744 he said:

"Put together 22 trades on A/U, E/U, G/U & NZD/USD + I took couple of CHF as well"

In his second post on the thread FX-Pro said that he took 12 to 16 trades per month.

all im trying to say here is that i see waay more than 16 trades per month!!
such a small number!!

how would you place tp and sl? i guess sl on LL but tp?

i usually close my first half position with 1:1 RR & move the other half to BE to ride the entire trend till the price reversal (Cross of 12 EMA/ PAC) which may go up to 150 pips at times...

by this way i'm reducing my risk by closing first half position with 1:1 & riding the entire trend without risk...

Turned out to be a nice trade. Did anyone else take this one?

I believe that this setup was in keeping with the rules and the added reject from the 200EMA whilst in a 200 EMA downtrend just added further confluence. This, coupled with the relatively strong PAC and clear RN support TP level of 1.2895 made me want to enter this one, albeit only for 2:1 TP:SL.

Would any of you guys take this one? If not, why not, and what would you do differently?

Oh, and great method FX_Pro. Keep it up!

Noticed that too. Now waiting for the direction. Going long if 72EMA is broken or short if trendline is broken (pending PA confirmation).

Ok Folks,

What are we looking here? We are looking for a bounce from the trend line right? Yes, if we see a price bounce + momentum from green circle & close above 12EMA / PAC is a trigger for long right? Yes

What if the price breaches the trend line with a strong momentum & close below the trend line, is it a trigger for short? No, why? As per the method we are suppose to enter a pull back, if we enter a trade immediately after the breach of trend line, the price may reverse for a pullback / re-test the trend line right, so we are going to enter at the pull back, isn’t that an extra confirmation for short, Yes.

Am I clear?

At the moment all indecision bars, so its clear that it’s a key area for a trigger…
