yes, well the resistance point was (personal view) 8208, now if no sellers around here (as it looks like), the next checkpoint is 8260, momentum speaking looks like there are high chances of hit it, so.. that's good you're still in

Im just glad I have another buddy on here trading kiwi! lol

I actually covered at 8223 mainly because i have a ton of stuff to do today ... we could get a reload opportunity at 8185

I noted some compression moved up to here and i expect a selloff into LC...

Failure is always an option.

Depends timeframe you look at. I took decision on weekly TF. If we get to 0,8243, i'll move SL to B/E and move TP higher.

I can see the call for 0.822, but I wouldn't switch to a long position until it breaks through 0.823 and retests 0.822 from above, but unless the US dollar index can penetrate 79.0 I think you're better off thinking about shorting any USD pair.
You can always make money tomorrow provided you don't lose it today.

I prefer selling NZD/USD but for seom reason WestPac analysts believe it will keep rising in the next month or so...

Don't want to anticipate anything, but NZDUSD has a weird idea of reversal when Engulfing pattern occurs on 8h (yes, 8) chart. Yesterday it happened again, so i'm bull until further notice.

...and yet, suddenly, with no fundamental reason to support it that I can find, AUD and NZD have suddenly and fearsomely changed direction just as the USD index crossed over to definitively bullish territory which, by necessity of how the USD index functions, should have forced all the USD pairs in favour of USD.

I exited my AUD/USD short, but I'm holding my NZD/USD short and will place a tight stop on the next pull-back just in case this is a fake-out if it doesn't hit 0.823 first which is my line in the sand for my short position.

Bought some more Kiwi at the lows

I love my new broker platform... puts the aggregate trade on there rather than a mess off green dotted lines like my old MT4 did

Prop trading platform... I can trade FX/Futures/option/equities on it.... Just have to pay for the feeds

Im using patsystems for my FX feed through it

Its sort of like ninjatrader but I think a bit easier to utilize...

Plus it gets me away from MT4 which as everyone knows can be heavily manipulated

It bounced off 0.8230 and is now deciding if it's going to pass through 0.8220 or retest 0.823 but I screwed up and moved my stop to exactly 0.8230 instead of 0.8233 like I'd intended, so I'm out now regardless until this resolves. [update: I went short again when it bounced off 0.8225]

If it bounces around between 0.8323 and 0.8322 again like it did for 18 straight hours yesterday, that will pretty much confirm this area as the pivot point once NZD/USD finally decides which way to go; however, if the direction it ends up choosing is down, I'm going to be very annoyed that I stopped myself out for no reason. [update: Since I'm short again I will be only slightly annoyed but primarily very pleased if it goes back down.]

It's virtually the same story with AUD/USD ...pick a direction and go with it already!

No action on this board! On a 2-hour chart, it looks like NZDUSD is forming a diamond pattern; a breakout could bring us up close to .83; very good risk/reward, anyone else agree?

Obv I can't post chart yet :/

Bias for upside:
1) Uptrend support more aggressive than downward resistance;
2) Most of the time the trend resumes on the same side from where it entered the diamond pattern

PS - no comment on my artistic talent

i see jesus pattern, in your drawings,on the other hand nz is small island with small economy all rising is just speculation ,just my opinion.
