DislikedJust entered this EU breakout. Nice one, went 93 bars...we'll see what happens...Ignored
DislikedYeah ! Turned a bit south for the moment but the way this thing recovers is really great. Spent a bit of time playing with 5m vs 15m this am. and on EU at least the 5 min gives better result at 955 and 66 %. I can't get the 15m quite up to that and is lower win % at 55. Really looking forward to this being able to run 24/5 and full forward testing. It should turn in some serious results as it is looking now.Ignored
DislikedWell, I have EJ and GJ around the 11 - 1200 mark at low 60's on 15m. Surprised myself not to have AJ there as it is a pair I often trade. Just put it on now and will have a play. See where I can get it too.
Cheers.Ignored
DislikedThat is nice. Last week I took this machine offline because I thought it had a graphics issue. Nvidea GTX 450. Should be quite good. This morning when tweaking I had a near identical display to yours bit look at this. Machine goes back to service people tomorrow - obvious graphics issue now. Before never quite so obvious. I'll transfer SSBO to a laptop.Ignored
DislikedVery nice on the EJ and GJ!!!
I do not trade any correlated pairs. The risk is never warranted...IMHO.
Cheers

DislikedIt's a moot point I believe. There are methods of trading baskets of correlated pairs. SSBO I don't feel, at this time, would be very bothered by spiking and I believe the EA may have a capability to catch same.
Just for interest I have AJ at 1307 and 63.5 % on m15. Trouble is this is all looking backwards. Roll on the forward tests.
Maybe FXH could chip in an opinion on spikes and the JPY. He is the master of trading this. The CHF is the one I keep off of although UJ is currently not very good. At present though I am running this to become...Ignored
Disliked1 pair or 6 pairs...it shouldn't matter. Using due diligence money management (say) 3%, you're spreading that out between 1-6 pairs. The outcome is the same.
For me personally, I am taking 4% spread between the 2 pairs I mentioned. Again "for me"...a lot less stressful :-)

Disliked....I am attaching two pics where the only difference is in the MinBarsClosedOutsideBO. 0 and 1 respectively but the difference this makes seems to be disproportionate and despite I am sure I have the same settings as Mr_M the result is very different.
This may be correct and it is myself who is mistaken but could you please have a look and see what you think ?
Many thanks.Ignored
DislikedA picture is worth a thousand words, consider the attached example. (also note that the movements are fictitious just to illustrate what I mean)
Had I set the QTP to, say 60 for example... I know it's exaggerated but this is strictly for illustration purposes. The first box, which currently hits QTP at 15, the first trade of the set, has hit S/L at around 40 pips (pentagon on my illustration). Trade 2 (in pentagon as well) would have opened with a T/P set at 40 pips (equal to the previous S/L). Having the Trade Set still opened based on the...Ignored
