Here is the entry as per the method…

+ 17 Pips at the moment & moved to BE at the moment, this was a late entry, I should have entered the previous bar, but dint have faith in the momentum, so entered late after the breach of previous bars high.
Revert for any clarification

So its a bounce from 200EMA & Closed above 12EMA & 72 EMA... so the Sentiment is long but dint have the momentum to enter the trade.... so waited for the price to breach the high of the previous bar....

thanks fx pro am now 26 pips in profit. held on since yesterday though i entered late. have moved my stoploss to break -even. i'll lock in profit as it goes down further.

No i ddnt take the trade, because i ddnt feel the edge as the market doesnt have much volume and spread was 5 pips Plus fellow member mentioned his short positions from this point so got a bit shaky. Plus the candle on my chart ddnt show the positive signal untill next bar. Guess its a bit late and will wait for next setup.

Could this be a possible setup on 1hr TF reject from 200ema ?

Yes... but keep this in mind....

1. Price should close below the 12EMA / PAC after the reject from 200 EMA

2. Look for the momentum / A strong reject

3. The price is showing HH & HL at the moment... so look for a bearish Pattern

Nope, all you need to look for a proper trend on 1H chart itself, but to be safer you may look at 4H / daily to stay till the complete ride...

Welcome to Forex Factory and maybe even to trading forex. I have no idea what your experience is in trading the forex market, but I note that you are reasonably new to FF.

I want you to consider this:
.........you have joined a thread where the system is set out by FX-Pro in the first post. Have a look at your chart and compare it to the one posted on the very first page. I cannot see a similar looking chart.

Now it you look at the update to the system as posted by FX-Pro in Posts # 954 and #955 on page 64. Can you say your chart compares with this? To me the answer is "no" because you have added an indicator that is not part of this method.

What this shows to me is that you cannot follow a system.............and you are not alone in not being able to follow a system, if you read other posts on this thread.

Trading on an hourly chart (this method) does not mean you will get several trades a day. In fact, FX-Pro said in the very first post:

"I've been trading this Method for almost 2 Years Now... with 80%+ Winning rate..."

"With this system I only trade AUD/USD for Now"

"Time Frame…

1H"


In the second post, he said:

"I take 12 to 16 Trades a month with a minimum of 50 Pips & a Max Of 150 pips per Trade..."

"Another advantage of this method is that, it avoids Over trading.... i was known for over trading when i was a newbie.."


I'd like to suggest that you go back to the first post and see if what you are looking for in a system is met by what FX-Pro has said. Read HIS posts and please don't be influenced by those who have added their own bits and pieces along the way as there is no way they can say what FX-Pro did

This is not meant as a personal criticism, but just a recommendation that you have to learn to follow a system.

McDonalds, Hungry Jacks (Burger King) and pilots learn how to follow the rules of making burgers according to the franchise method and thankfully pilots follow instructions or there would be flying disasters every day of the week. What is it with people who want to learn a method of trading the forex market that makes them want to change it within a few posts of it being posted on Forex factory?

If you are new to trading forex, you may find the babypips site good for your education.

One of the greatest challenges in trading forex is your own psychology. You need to understand yourself and then find a method of trading that suits your personality. Believe me you will not find this answer overnight.
