I am in GTA. I think it will briefly touch GTA but the area that will be impacted the most is NY. The weather forecast site I use has always been spot on about major storms - yet, the curious thing is, it doesn't predict anything major in NY - a wind of 80 km/h and a bit of rain (not much). In Toronto, the wind will be up to 55 km/h and again, a bit of rain. So far, that website has never been wrong.

In regards to the hurricane death toll - there was one hurricane in Korea and it took 13 deaths - all of them were due to two ships sinking. I suspect this storm's death toll consisted of similar incidents - so for those based inland, the impact will be minimal - unless NY has a fragile dam protecting it from major flood, as was the case with New Orleans

As long as the wind speed is less than 100 MPH, the power line may be intact. This is my major concern.

NYC does not have dams or alike but subways and tunnels may be submerged in the water for days.

Then, all I can say is taking care of your bulls and yourself. If my H4 ADX reading is correct, the Aussie is ready to take a dive whether the water is warm or cold.

The computer languages have different levels. The tougher to understand is the machine language.

ADX is a kind of machine language in the trading system. A machine language can deliver something that human (computer) language cannot. IMO

The banks in NYC area are all closed today due to the storm. This might be the reason that the volatility is so low today. Big boys are forced to leave their trading desks.

Big US institutions are the homes for big boys. If they are not participating, small traders like us cannot move the markets.
