MT5 is not really popular for now... I think it happened because MT5 does not allow hedging

MT4 indicators or EA's will not work for MT5, thats probably one big reason no one want to use it. there are traders who invested money in developing custom indicators and EA's, they will continue to use MT4. can't remember it now but there are other things you can't do in MT5 as you could in MT4, but why bother with it, MT4 and MT5 suck!

mt4 is great mt5 not so good because the language has become too complicated. mt5's language is a totally different language / more complicated. I see it as a complete failure since mt4 was trader friendly in that a trader can modify indicators very easily because the language is simple. Mt5 benefits the programmers rather than independent traders. I raised this point in a programing forum that the developers have - naturally they got angry and defensive. They blamed my programming skill naturally and not their stupid design.
Before Forex I was tall, and clean shaven. Now I am an Ewok.
