I am seeing some extremely strange spread fluctuations on my client, upwards of 8pips on A/U. Anyone else seeing this? Guess it might just be the afternoon illiquidity.

That is probably something i have still yet to learn, but im quite dedicated to helping traders understand things and it gets frustrating if by the end of the day they learnt nothing....

Shorting AUD/USD at the moment is not optimal. You really would have to wait for a candle on DAILY after AAPL release. One of two things are going to happen on the dollar

A Comes back down from this upper range on Daily sending AUD up even higher

B. Breaks out of this congestion zone to trade higher which means ES would be below 1400 and you would see a great addition to short AUD/USD again

Look at the Daily 10/17-18 selloff than recovery allowed me to short at 1.04-1.0410 for a new leg lower and same for the top end in standing aside and not adding to AU short. I am concerned that is AUD are at current levels while NYopens up tomorrow and then AAPL comes out better Dollar will be sent lower and the next short opp wold come n at 1.0420-1.0435

if you wana go that extreme.... im pretty sure everyone has 1/10000 of an African since we humans originate from Africa!! woo hoo... LOL

oh yeah lol It's all just a pedigree contest - humans are humans. Well I don't believe the numbers are cooked, and if you'd do your homework you'll know the numbers are compiled by markit economics which is an independent outfit that submits surveys to major producers and businesses for the data. Not by the Chinese government. I would be more skeptical of US department of labour numbers since the U7 economic numbers is at 17 or so percent while the official ones are at 7.8.

As to the Chinese government, if you compare the official numbers to the hsbc ones in the past, you'll find the numbers are all within margin of error with not much deviation. Frankly I believe all these articles about real China gdp been -3% or that they're only using half total electrical consumption compared to a few years ago total bs.

Its mind boggling that some people actually believe this, I mean China still has soaring energy demand, there's over a dozen thermal, nuclear and hydro power plants still in the pipeline, the three gorges dam which is the equivalent of 3 hoover dams runs on full capacity, and you still get brownouts occasionally from what I can tell from relatives living there. There's no way the country is running on half the power output.

Ive been on about this level for awhile... the 0351/0360 is an area that will bring in the position guys.... expect choppy PA/weird spread fluctuations/ compressions/ fakeouts/ etc...

Major decision zone.... position players will scale into these areas a bit at a time as they become more certain of their overall direction. These dudes trade huge with huge stop losses.

Be careful guys.... trade well and wait for a catalyst before making any moves....

If u think chinese numbers are not cooked up, you are very wrong, the real reason why china may have seem to have a soft landing is because the chinese government is undergoing a change of leadership and the last thing the government wants is panic prior to the transfer of leadership.

Next, there are signs that china are getting desperate, the island that china and japanese are fighting for has been there for ages, but the rivalry for that island only began aggressive in the recent year, well, i wont blame the chinese since that island is estimated to have a deep sea oil reserve as big as the one of saudi arabia..... And boy do the chinese need lil for themselves if they want to continue growing at their soft landing pace....

May e time for you to read up on some REAL news

I completely understand what you're saying. All I meant is that it doesn't really matter if the numbers are cooked or not when trading FOREX as the market moves off of what it hears and sees. So even if the numbers were in fact cooked (not saying they are) it doesn't matter.

see m5 FOMC, just reading PA dont care to look at EMA's you can look at an M1 and figure out where strength is.. i'm calling it like it is.


Infact was looking at the TICK chart and noticed a big order around the exact low of gold... saw that it tested it slowly and then ticked up... about 5 mins before the news... that low was tested again but failed to break... usually happens everyday if you know what to look for... just hard to get yourself to get in on it because you don't know if its buying or selling at the time.
