i got 2 brokers using meta on 2 different times. is there a way to set the meta clock anyone?

Nope. It is based off of server time.

piss..... its screwing my candles.. made a trade off a new brokers candle.. and later looked at the usual brokers unclosed candle. i asked this question before. i was hoping something had changed.
i had a red shooting star on the 4h gbp with new broker... on the broker with the time i like, it just closed a s s but green... with a lower wick above the 10% i use. its less powerful then the red one. at least the close was within the candle to the left.

Ken, Gold closing day testing 1700.xx right on time for the FOMC. Aggressively trailing and micromanaging for the news on any hints of extending QE3 in December. I expect nothing new so we can run to 164x (with intermediate stop at 167x). A fast reversal intrday on the break back 171x will open 174x non stop running stops on the way up.

The rest as expected for the US session chop and nothing until FOMC. European indices closed with a decent gap to next support. ES still wide open for a tick sub 1400 (trading in a very decent area intraday to play the intraday move if you are not already in). Oil also with a very decent distant to key Support 83.7x. Euro nothing new same trades same views, same everything.

Only FOMC can shift short term direction now as TA all markets are aligned and running.

Venice is absolutely correct.

You CAN use offline charts (which update live) and have them recalculate your candles, though. Helps to sync daily roll...and H4, D1, W1 and MN charts. Pain in the butt IMNSHFO, though.

Part of my ultimate reason for settling on the brokers I use is that they ALL use the same server time, and daily roll is at 5pm EST on them all. They all open at 5pm EST Sunday night and close at 5pm Friday, too, so I have 5 perfect 24 hour periods on them all. Simples.

Watching like a hawk! Very nearly put in around 1699.50. Amazed it didn't blow at least $10 once it got there.

I LOVE the early forth quarter. For some reason, I always seem to remember it as a well behaved time. A trader could get rich if flows were like this year round.

Inverted H&S pop out a lot more, too...H1. I don't religiously play them, but I pay attention to the chance of a symmetrical-ish play off them.

the gbp is looking to kiss itself at 6044 ish.. 1h.. its near a place i showed u last night 6049.. the messed up 4 h candle is weak, but still bearish.. past R is there....its at 6030 atm... worth a peek... but dont let it run against you.. its got 100 pips above if it does.. my fear is the euro never got 3014, and could carry the gbp above..
