Yes mate, German / French and Euro numbers were bad and lower than the already negative expectations. We are talking of consistently recession numbers. Those are not good at all numbers and they are not the "average" random under expectations number we get sometimes.

If you add to bad US earnings season, "sluggish" numbers from China and TA aligned in all key markets you have enough fuel for a decent pullback.

In any case, very good morning for trading across the board. Party is over without NY and prolly over until FOMC. Expecting just noise from Draghi with a dovish (eurowise) tone (if any comments out of the norm) given that is in the Bundestag with lots politicians.

US Housing relatively interesting for today. It has been picking up lately and holding in a positive trend will have more implications (the 1st sector to trigger the recession and the last one to get out) than joining the last few days bad news and numbers.

Despite that, NY and FOMC in control. Europe, Gold, Oil and Dollar are in full swing but US need to continue the dance....

Let' see how it goes.
