If we count only historical average devaluation on the list, I don't think there is doubt that the number one is the Dollar and by far ...and even in the last 4 years, China currency manipulation looks rather "small" in compassion with the circus on the west (lol just look at Sterling, Dollar and Euro alone) and "rational" given that circumstances. ...so that is just Republican noise for the masses before elections....

Whatever the case, strong European opening, DAX leading and all european markets breaking down intraday. There is very decent room intraday until S (DAX 7075.xx and FTSE 579x reference). The move was triggered from the US (v. poor earnings so far) and there is no reports and/ or debt noise from Europe today so one sided market.

Euro doing nothing like the last 4 weeks. Intrday 1.306x is the line in the sand. To the other side, bottom of the consolidation range, 1.291x wide open with a breach 1.301x until FOMC. In simple words, there is better bang for the buck and a lot of action happening across the board to trade a noisy euro until it break the wide range....

yes noise... the were quiet at 1.6..
as for as china, sure the u.s. is doing it. but being the reserve allows this. as for as china... when the reserve one does it. china does it step for step also. it hurts others more then the u.s... against the u.s. its =... they start manipulated verse the u.s. making it worse on the world exporters.
