It's happened plenty of times to me here (live trade post followed by prompt stop out)...generally followed by a comment from demo traders as to what was "wrong" with the setup and why they didn't take it.

Are we seeing a SPF right now in UCAD?

This is what I would consider a SPF. Would like some feedback from others. Pull UCAD up on the 1hr/4hr/daily.

If today closes below that level (Highs) on my chart, it's a valid SFP i think. This is how i understand it. I don't like those highs that much though...not in a deep swing point (personally)

Saw this on twitter yesterday. It makes perfect sense. The U.S. election is 2 weeks away. If S&P goes up, UC goes down.

Big day for Cad tomorrow.

The level has been tested a bit too much for me Sam, I like 'V' shape price formations in a ranging market (which UC normally is) like Grizzly has shown in his A+ set-up.

On my feed I don't have an hourly SFP showing but it's good on the 4hr and it might close as one on the daily later.

That 9947 level looks like a RR level to me, though I don't have a very good hit rate with RR trades in this pair, I wouldn't trade it.

USDCAD when it's range bound like earlier on in the year was 'kin awesome for SFP's on the 4hr. Had some really big moves off of them.

This is UC end of FEB/MAR/ and a bit of april. Red cross marks the swing point, SFP's of those swings are marked by the red arrow. Black cross is a failed trade.

This particular market condition has changed unfortunately.

Im reading the PDF posted a few months back to get up to speed but wwould be really thankful if someone would explain to me what SFT and FTA stand for/mean?

Hello Fezzy,

FTA = First Trouble Area, area at which a price may falter in its progress, usually due to previous price action.

SFT - no idea, guessing you mean SFP, which is Swing Failure Pattern, also written as SPF on occasion, which is the same thing.

Look to the right of the page numbers at the top of this page, above "Thread Tools" , click on the paper clip with 2,025 next to it. when the window opens up click "hide images". You will see a list of PDF's
