The HFT Group comprise approximately 50 members currently. It grew from a small group of traders specifically trading tick scalping ea's like MDP, NMI SS and NO1 scalper. One of the main focusses of the group is to negotiate private agreements with specific brokers for rebates or commission discounts based on the potential volume generated by the group as a whole. This removes the requirement of having to go through commercial rebate companies to secure rebates.
I respect the fact that forum moderators have deemed this a commercial enterprise, even though the purpose of the HFT Group is to secure rebates/discounted commissions for the benefit of its members and other forum members, both here and on other Forex forums.
As a group effort, we have successfully negotiated private agreements for rebates and commission discounts, with a number of reputable brokers. These private agreements were originally restricted to existing HFT Group members but are now made available to all forum members.
While some might disagree with sharing successful ea's and the brokers they work on, the intention of the HFT Group was to secure agreements for the benefit of all, not of the individual.
We have proved that more can be achieved by group effort than can be achieved by the individual trader.
I will post details of agreements we have secured with brokers for rebates/commission discounts together with pending agreements in the near future.
The HFT Group does not enter into an agreement with any broker that involves the widening of spreads or increases in commission charges. Trading conditions must be identical to those you would get having opened an account directly with the broker.
