What is the result of the RBA meeting just now guys? I saw AUD went down and up again now...

no rate cut i believe.

Slightly dovish , but no fireworks - market unchanged .
A small blip down , now heading back up

Traders always head to last paragraph 1st .
This is the line that they would of firstly focussed on ;

" Therefore, at this meeting the Board judged that it was appropriate for the stance of monetary policy to be a little more accommodative, thereby providing some additional support to demand over the period ahead. "

Was never a threat of that today. Was just the minutes of the meeting where they DID cut on October 3rd.

It looks like AUD is bullish again... The last rate cut couldn't push it below 1.01 and it's back to the top again lol... I guess they will cut more rate again huh...

1.0290 is critical for a big move up

There was never going to be a rate cut today .
However , market expectations of a cut at the next meeting in November have now been lowered .
Market now pricing in a 78 % chance , down from 85% prior to the release of 'the minutes' .

Still holding short target 1.0108

I like shorts here, cough them up if we close above 1.0295 on an hourly close there or above, seems like 30 pips risk approx for 200 pts potential down. C.O.T. still has long only "odd lots" extremely long... hedge funds appear short judging by Deutsche Bank positioning, Copper shakey and S&P topped?. Yes I've talked myself into adding to shorts! Half stops at 1.0295 close only and rest at 1.0325 hrly close only.

Watch the 95/04 area if it goes we have a clean run to the 21

It could be some weird triple top on the one minute and the 5 minute..
