He was able to achieve much higher than normal terminal velocity speeds due to being in the outer atmosphere, which is, of course, far less resistant. I think in normal people altitude, a human in a aerodynamic shape is around 200-220'ish mph for terminal velocity.

I'm completely speculating here, but that is why I was thinking he was able to achieve such speeds.

Nothing wrong with pulling smaller ones out. I do it ALL the time...partials, at least. They certainly do add up. Finding 100-200+ pip runs these days is pretty tough.

Only holding this...but won't be getting rich from it, because it is a wee position...

Just ticking over and putting some green ones in the bank to keep the lights and internet on.

Something will come along soon enough. Keep pulling your small runs...tough to go broke when they're green.

Well jaysus...he blew that away. Thought "normo" t-velocity would have been a bit higher than the 200 mark...but haven't...looked at it in a long time.

Yep...you know yourself, though...

Ebbs and flows. Always comes back around. Just have to stick to your plan. Because I pretty much always pull partials, my gains/losses always stay fairly consistent, no matter what the conditions. But...the crap ranges can tempt you to do other things, too. Like my Gold scalp on Friday. I certainly don't regret doing it (I won)...and may start doing more of it, but it came about through a little bit of boredom. Had a very clear cutoff point, though.

Hindsight is the eternal whore! Had I left those alone, and closed today at 1730, I think I would have doubled my account! Bastard!

Good luck with EA that mofo moves parabolic maybe will move parabolic short this time. I see gold and silver have taken a good dip, perhaps this is a sign of Euro weakness. I think it will see 1.27 before continuing up.

I like how you use ema envelopes. One of the only tools I use besides divergence.

I thought I was the only one who used them. I've never seen anyone else post a chart with envelopes besides you.

Is coming across the board. Chop zone won't last more than this +/- week in my books, swings plays coming. Daily has been stuck in wide chop zone (weekly consolidation) for a couple of weeks and latest price action (with the FA movers this week) in daily is showing sign of range exhaustion (the ranges are uncovered in most of the instruments) so it wont last long.

We sometimes "suffer" for a few days (I know you swing) when the daily is in major consolidation zone but the range has it's "minutes" counted. Completing weekly moves (retraces in most cases) is what I am tracking/trading...

I use them off DTEMA...Daily Trend.

The thing that blows is: I had some computer woes a while back. Blew my entire OSes away and went fresh. Assumed I had backups of everything I had been working on. Did a quick scan, and all seemed to be there...but lost a couple of things. One of them was basically an adaptive envelope off DTEMA that used ADR and fib levels of it. Was loving it. Now...I have to redo it. Fun!




Nicely done on the scalps! Fine day for it.
