It does seem that no matter where you put the "Fib" you can get it to agree with your thinking.
And what i have found is that a majority dont truly define in depth the ins and outs of a 'trend' and a 'range'. In many cases it is a very vague subjective definition.
Of course, "one mans trend is another mans range". Both could profit/lose.
A %-retrace (fibs or watever) can be seen everywhere and can be shown to work (and fail!) in stopping a move. RedLion said it best here:

Yes, a trend is a move from point A to point B.
Yes, a range is a move from point A to point B.
So where is the definition here? There is none.
All one needs is to capture a move from point A to point B.
Who defines what a "move from point A to point B" is?
All i know is that moves expand and contract in size, offering never ending point A to point B opportunities.
Yet these 'A to B' moves are never the same, because they expand and contract continually.
So no matter what % retraces one uses, if they dont clearly define in detail what they are looking for and take into account expansion/contraction, then, fibs will do what fibs do best: they fib
I find fibs pointless. %-retraces though, is something else altogether depending on its context and how it is used (expansion/contraction).
The question here is, what is the difference between an expanding move, an expanded move, a contracting move, a contracted move.

If you are easily irritated or offended by anyone/anything...
You are not emotionally strong enough to trade.
You need to develop the capacity to handle the worst situation. Trading is not about picking yourself up and getting back on your feet. Trading is about regaining your focus under a stressful environment. It's about regaining your focus/emotions/composure when someone is at your face telling you "STFU you worthless piece of sh*t!!!".
You've heard it before; being detached from every trade (don't marry your trades). But it goes far deeper than that... If you get irritated/offended by the way people move, thinks and quacks... It says one thing; You're emotionally weak, you're emotionally not strong, you don't have what it take.
I've mentioned about exercising discipline outside trading. As exercising anything (controlling your emotions) outside trading will inevitably will reflect back to your trading. And here at the forum is an excellent way to exercise control of emotions. You find someone here irritating... exercise your control and regaining your focus.

Thank you for defending me, but I'm going to ask you guys to stop. As I said; some people will get it, some people won't. I get that when you explain things, it will cement the knowledge so it has some benefits. But don't waste your time on the wrong people. The wrong people are the ones when you open a thread about trading, they they will reply with an off topic or a personal attack that has nothing to do with the thread. Don't even bother explaining these people.

You don't have to get yourself into these emotional issues.
It' was about time, trend and history... in the same paragraph.
I suppose I can imagine what you're saying with ''history'' and ''no history'' but maybe it's tricky to say it that way?
Because, one tick after this, is history.

The sum of all participants only gives you which direction to trade.
Once you are in a trade, the sum of all participants doesn't tell you how to manage that trade.
If you follow the minority, they don't tell you how to manage a trade.
Managing a trade is the crucial point. It appears from your post that you are looking for a "buy here and exit here" answer. I'm sorry, Professional traders don't roll like that
the secret is... everybody knows the next phrase.
