Just there to work with, but will happily enough let those fill at anytime. I like the levels, and if we get to any of them today...a bounce will be due. Still Longs only on Gold for me.
Anyway...works for me. Sometimes you pick up a tasy spike and get a very quick corrective run.
Debating holding. But...that debate may last about two minutes.

To keep this simple...I'll speak in MT4 terms (lot sizes).
On my FXPro account, the smallest lot size I can enter (or leave running when taking partials) is 0.1 lots on any instrument...Gold included.
A $10 move in Gold at 0.1 lots, is equivalent to a 100 pip move at 0.1 in EU. (<--there or there about, anyway.)
So... a $25 Gold move == a 250 pip EU move.
Look how often Gold moves that distance compared to EU...or any other major, really. Plus...look how much shorter of a time span Gold will complete those moves compared to EU, etc. Now...think about having 0.3 or .4 lots on for it. Gives me room to pull partials...and roll with the flow. Adds up quick using very little equity.
I have a real bias for trading the Shiny...makes me the bulk of my (extremely meager) fortune.

When I'm swinging...very little. Might go as high as 4:1 at a full (rare) load...prefer to keep it around 2:1...over two or three positions.
Today I went for it pretty hard, because I was playing it like a genuine "scalp" setup. I had a very clear level that I was getting out at if it went wrong. Didn't actually look to see how high I went, but guessing 10/15:1. That was how I made out like a bandit very quickly...and also why I was just looking to get out pretty fast. Was going to try and hold a runner, but then saw how much I was...
Gold's got insanely smooth flows when she's in the mood, silver is even more wicked...
I once calculated my P&L swings using the leverage I use for FX just for the fun of it, made my head spin..

the bitch can give with a daily range of $20 so pinkish and some times risky a camel balls account needed to be in the safe side

This is this month...
Only two instruments I've traded. Gold by far brings me the most. About half of that 14.7% came today off a quick leveraged Gold move. Largest close was $8.23 into the move. Just pays too well.
Probably going to see me looking for tight entry, bump and run, leveraged moves over the next little while. Today was a "rush/buzz" because I haven't gone in at such size there for a while. But I should NOT have pulled everything at the end. I'm staring at my chart right now, and the setup was textbook. I was too cautious on pulling my remaining partials. Happy enough to bank quickly (love to get paid)...but easily could have left .2 or .3 lots on and collected another $500+.
I'll get there. Not complaining. Took the pips and went from brunch...aka...enjoyed life. Never a bad thing. More moves just around the corner.

Dow holding on Daily 50MA so should probably get a good week next week and with Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Morgan Stanleyall reporting.
