Let me begin by saying, I am clearly a "fan" of MB Trading and I think they are among the most innovative and fair brokers around. I've used them for 6+ years, first for stocks and futures, and finally forex.

I traded Pay for Limits for a year straight, almost every day scalping. I recently tried their new Free EXN for Navigator Pro. (I don't use MetaTrader.) I trade the London-US overlap mostly. With the Free EXN for Nav Pro, I just don't see customer orders inside the quoted market. While we used to complain about the lack of liquidity (or size available) on the Pay for Limits platform, there are small to medium size customer orders in that "marketplace" often.

I was trading the Free EXN this morning about 9:45am-10:15am. Fairly choppy, but there never appeared small, obviously customer orders in that depth of market. Spread was generally 1.0-1.1 pips.

I switched over to my Pay for Limits account, and there were lots of small orders reducing the spread to as little as 0.3 pips appearing at different times.

When I used Pay for Limits exclusively, I complained when they opened the Free EXN for MetaTrader users.
It seemed as if they all went to the Free EXN.
For the first time, (since opening it to Nav Pro) I can participate in the Free EXN, supposedly combined with those traders.
I don't see customer orders. I don't see ANY small limit orders.

Any thoughts?

At the beginning of free exn with desktop pro, I didn't see any lmt orders other than liquidity providers (neither in the spread, nor outside). I called the support and they solved this issue.

are you talking about withdrawal fees or when you ask for your money back they are not sending that exact amount back.

I've drained my account a few times and I had no hassle at all. They weren't small accounts either..

I transfer funds in and out of my account all the time by FREE ach. It always arrives overnight in my checking account. Never had a problem.

How much do you want to bet that he is a MT4 trader that is confused because of the way MT4 displays balance information?

I'd lay money on abet that rather than getting his balance from the Website, he expects what is showing in MT4.

I do seem to have crappy fills lately though... 1-5 standard lots Eurusd should fill instantly and does with any broker I've been with, but lately... It's taken several seconds and sometimes I dont get filled at my price at all.

I have been trying to log into Metatrader for the last hour, without success.

Anyone else having the same issues?

Been with them for years, never an issue with withdrawals. You're doing something wrong.

I have a question about MBT Nav's DOM Interface (or Ladder).
I used to think Volume indicated volume traded at that price within MB Trading's "universe".
It does increase sometimes as price trades around, but...
It seems the numbers "decay" over time. The first pic is price around 1.3071.
Volume indicated all over at different 1/10ths of a pip... it has been trading there a few minutes.

Second pic is around price 1.3078 (in the ladder), screen captured at the same time.
About 20 minutes earlier, price traded actively around 1.3078. There was volume indicated at these levels.
I didn't screen capture it then, but there was activity.
The volume is essentially gone, there are miniscule amounts showing.

Does volume decay over time in this ladder view? and what time frame if so?
There are no preferences for time frames in settings.
Justin, feel free to join in if you have any insight.

Here is the exact same price interval as my first picture.
1.306900 thru 1.307190 EUR/USD

this was screen captured at approx 2:10pm EST,
the previous was approx 10:45am EST.

Where did the volume "go"? It doesn't stay accumulated or it decays?
Trying to understand what those "volume" numbers are derived from?

I was wondering too what was this volume. I have the same question about the volume indicated in the Chart interface.
I don't think the volume in Ladder represent volume traded, because they are very high. However, when I see a volume increase, it is always at the bid or at the ask, so we could think it is related to trades.
Several times on this forum, Justin said that forex brokers (including MBT) don't give information about forex volume. For example, Time & Sales only show last bid and ask, not a real time & sales unlike for equities.

If you check volume on Ladder on a slow moving contract, for example EUR/CHF, you can see that volume increases with bid and ask volume. So it is decorrelated to trading volume.

This is what Justin has said from the start...that they did not see a move from PFL to FREE EXN for active scalpers trying to get filled on the bid/ask. In fact, those people would still be better on PFL, and I suspect that that's where they are, to the extent that they still exist. The High-Frequency Trading Fee from the NFA has probably lessened the number of them, which is why you see it less.

Suddenly, when I try to put stop-limit order just some 3 pips below purchase price with a spread of a few pips (like I always did so far), I get "order rejected".
Did I miss some important change in orders placement rules?
(mbt navigator, PFL).
