dustbin levels are not getting any respect today
I don't know much about dusbins, Glen is the Master there, but why don't you use the daily range to find the levels?. I mean a 20 grid will do it most of the time but if you want to pinpoint the exact levels, why don't start your levels when daily extend and break (or not) the range.
In simple words, if it doesn't break the range you keep the same levels, if it does, you just adjust them on the roll ...maybe I am talking no sense and you know better ...just my 2 cents.

Well, in my books we haven't even started the move for this Month range.
Reversal (you meaning continuation down in monthly I guess) sounds a bit premature. We haven't even test last break up point (untested 1.264x) and by just common sense (and the slope of that move) below 1.243x it will require a massive risk scenario with support of FA.

Sure it is premature and as I keep on repeating, I have totally no clue what is going on in US/China elections, so I am flat untill dust settles. Only my conspirational theories are telling me Romney wins, but I cant trade that
.Nevertheless, I think monthly move has started, we are about to form a tripple top in this triangle and then possibly break down to ,268 before end of the month. Or form that inverted hammer and break at start of Nov. But as I said, I think elections are in charge and if you dont understand it, youŽd better stay out.
Btw, I may have used wrong the word "reversal" and that is what confused you. I also think yearly low is already in place, so the proper word could be "correction" here. Aint sure with that high tough, Bubbles is still here and OhBummer may win. What I meant is that this month is pointing down and ,268 should be retested.
Imo ,243 seems quite unlikely right now, with all the intervention around. CBs havent been fighting for so long to let the markets crumble before elections.

when i said that the levels were not behaving today, i meant that the normal beat of EU is 20 pips and some days it just doesn't do that and today was one of those. you add to the confusion by having 2 charts with let's say 02/22 levels on one and on the other you have 11/33 and then you got to figure out which levels are correct or just admit this is not a good dustbin day. it is common for changing levels when NY comes on board too but you don't want to be chasing the levels or at least i don't. i know gleneagles will change levels more often than i but he trades a lot more in the vol ital times than myself. the very BEST dustbin day are when you don't have to change them at all and they are very well respected. all you got to do is wait for a m5 candle to close in the next level and place your buy or sell OR get a good momentum candle cross levels and go for it.

If you look at the chart attached you can see sup/res levels forming at multiples of 50 pips.
It is not as reliable and profitable to trade as short term dustbins but for longer term swing trading , it may have some merit.
I don`t even buy green bananas and I make money from compounding not from the actual pips gained so I stick to the short term dustbin trading.
Just something you may find interesting.
