not knowing whats on the second shelve of my freezer is ignorance. ignorance is everywhere and we all have it. i dont know whats on my second shelf either. i have multiple freezers. so there is many answer's. i would not expect anyone else to know. but it does make them and myself ignorant to the fact.
henry ford many times answered questions like this.. " I dont not know"..
showing ignorance.. " give me some time and i can answer the question" he would then get his army of engineers to help him find the answer. only then would he answer.

I'm all kinds of ignorant. It's why half of my rants on here should be taken with a grain of salt. I blab on about things I know very little about. More often than not it's just a frustration release. It keeps me sane.

I always want to learn though, even if I do end up forgetting it in a week.

I drank my memory into submission :/

Started watching that HBO show The Newsroom online this week. Not bad. Obviously some fluffy bollocks included, but I like the message overall. Nothing anyone on here would be shocked about, but to have that message shown to the mainstream is pretty encouraging...and LONG overdue. HBO is a good thing! Pretty funny that Romney says this week that he wants to cut PBS! 0.000016% (may have added an extra zero... negligible, though) of the US budget. Way to go champ!

sisse is spot on, though. Certainly NOT an isolated US problem (fudged numbers). Global epidemic...pandemic. But...the US, Canada, UK, Aus etc, etc, etc...are nowhere NEAR the worst culprits...and there are a LOT of (almost "mainstream" these days) whistle-blowers, watch-dogs that stop it from getting too far out of whack.

Anyway...an election year (quarter). No real surprise that oil has come off, and unemployment figures, too. The opposite would have made me wonder about the Mayan calender a little more. Ho-hum...

Exactly what I was originally getting at. The gf and I were watching the news this morning and Good Morning America was touting the drop in unemployment. Before I even did, she goes "YEAH RIGHT!!!".

It's interesting to see the general public becoming at least a little more aware of what's going on... not to mention refreshing. But it feels like a too little too late type of scenario to me.

I don't know what's going to happen or when, but I know it won't be pretty.
