Taking 1st target in the euro. Next target looks far for today but markets in manic mode across the board so let see how far we can go on the knee jerk reaction...

Does anyone trade futures in here? Are futures more reliable than spot PA wise?

I'm just inquiring, since I need to diversify a little bit, and I really don't like equities that much.

2.5 hours 3031.8 +-.. would be a good test for bears.. staying above 3061.5 a good one for bulls. . look for weakness.

all 2768 needed was a 3046 kiss.. it could spend the night or the week.. but w/o a HH we are going to see it. i don't know if this was a quickie or not. if it was a quickie it usually will do the walk of shame back to 3031 side.. in a 1 h or 4h candle. so we may see a long wick day close.. i don't know whats happening or what she will do. but she has a nice personality. if the day is wicky... that close will have less weight, even if green..

Come on mate, politics aside, some of the comments in TV after NFP are on the ridiculous side to say the least.

This is the US we are talking about not Zimbabwe, N. Korea or a random dictator in a third world country where you just fake statistics or put your brother in charge of the statistics office or shoot the guy in charge if doesn't publish the official numbers, etc ...

Sure unemployment calculation are not perfect anywhere in the world given complexities in calculating the numbers, but from there to imply that everything is fake is way too much and it only show the election heat and which side are some commentators taking....

IMO, the issue is not if it is 7.8%, sure it has go down after 4 years of recession, the real issue is that 7.8% (or 8. whatever) is still very mediocre for the US in comparison of what it used to be (around natural unemployment 3.5 to 4.5%).

Give it more time with Democrats or Republicans it will come back sooner rather than later ... some doomers (mostly republicans) and some Obama is god (mostly democrats) in the US are making more damage than good misinterpreting and misusing those macro numbers.

It is what it is. 7.8 is not good but is rational for the US, technically on the mean with the least 12 NFP reports, the levels in manufacturing, services, consumer confidence and especially on average with the other G20 most develop countries in the world right now.

... the rest is just political BS pre elections...

in EW waves tend to have a fib relationship.
if this happens this could be a wave 1 or 5.
too early to say now of course..
but last wave is longer which makes me think this is wave 3.
