But don't forget that is intraday inside bar trading (with the daily consolidation) and the level in play is not only daily R but Y/Q/M/W so a "wick" of even hundred of ticks (depending on the TF) is just noise until is broken or rejected on the appropriate TF....

In any case, here we go. V slight chance of an unexpected cut (that will be brilliant from the ECB but I don't think they have the balls) and after the real mover with the conference...

i do watch closes and candles. but i also watch the move.. we just got above 2967... so it cancels 2858.. and opens 3131... but granted its norm to go back to 2884 before 3131... also we still have the bigger mid at 2987 that may be R.. we also have 2994.. and 2973.. a LL below 2802 will be the only thing that will cancel 3131

agree the relevance of the level in the bigger picture and the noise there is. Ichikomu technicals however do remain of bullish outlook above 2822/D1 and 2710/W1 which might be in contrast to your view after month close.

I don't really see 1.313x in that context. Sure is fresh weekly R (weak btw as inside bar and it won't hold a weekly move in my charts) but I am prioritizing the key Yearly and Monthly levels in play first as we just opened the Quarter after a strong break up on weekly/monthly so ...

We still have NFP tomorrow too so lets see how the conference pans out first... only mild expectations on the conference with the only thing to track will be a dovish tone in Draghi as he will prolly avoid any comments on the bailouts/bonds/etc ...

if we had already hit 2987 after we hit 2802.. bears would be in better shape. it would be time to look for weakness. we built a launchpad when we missed it the first time yesterday. we still can hit 87 and form a dt.. but 2802 has to be taken out.. on the norm attempt back to 2887.. it could happen if 87 contains it.. it dont have to get 87, just a attempt may be enough being this is the second time. 72 is there..

ok 2987 is now hit... weakness should not be ignored.. st nears want 2938 probably before 3031... going back to 2884.7 is norm... w/o sub 2802 its bullish

Nothing new. Strong words on the ECB roll but nothing we haven't heard before so no impact. On the macro side as expected inflation under control and poor growth expected leaving the door open for a rate cut by year's end and lots of pro more Europe integration mumbujumbo....

The typical 3 1st questions and ready for NY open. No reaction in euro yet with 1.301x in sight.
