Quarterly Outlook

On the FA side:

 

1. Election Quarter so any major economic bad news will be blamed to the other side of the Atlantic until election results. However, this season debt soap opera seems to be over and only the final episode (which everybody already knows the outcome) left: Spain bailout can trigger a final (and prolly for a long time) risk wave across the board.
   
2. We are officially getting back to "normal" times after 4 years of risk/panic/politicians rumors BS and CBs with free money controlling the FA side. Starting with this NFP, macroeconomic numbers and especially after election, inflation will be ruling macro direction (as it should be).
   
3. On that front, I am not expecting much this Quarter in the US, US economy to keep slowly recovering with most real money already riding the wave so as long as inflation holds until December, steady, slow, narrow continuation with the typical hiccups from Spain and debt.
   
4. While in Europe "last" chance to make a hard bottom in the double dip, most short term fear and panic is dispersing, lots of promises on the table from Banking Union to Social Union (whatever that means) and with the ECB in full control with a final mini Bazooka to extend monetary policy via a further rate cut that is wide open for the next 3 meetings.
   

On the TA side:

 

1. Quarterly:
   1. Rejection of swing low in play. Strong 1.296x R is momentum line to 1.334x which is open but capped to the current yearly high because of the failure to break 1.296x this quarter.
      
   2. 1.266x best retrace to rejection strongly fadable with monthly when tested (best trade left for the year).
      
   3. Overshoot to Q Support 1.223x very marginally open and it will only be tradable on a break 1.266x with Spanish collapse and Greece leaving the Union in a panic wave but not TA alone.

2. Monthly:
   1. Reversal from last month already completed the easy part of the 1st move. Retrace 1st from 1.296x fadable to 1.275x with extension to 1.266x. Momentum line 1.2865x keeping a very close eye 'cause ECB/NFP combo.
      
   2. The good and with the trend trade comes on the break 1.296x to 1.334x but needs to clear ECB (no cut this month otherwise is no no)/ NFP combo this week to have the play this month...otherwise will be delayed for next month.

3. Weekly:
   1. Uptrend in full motion but we are trading retrace wave. Nothing tradable at the current levels (1.289x). Soft stops at 1.281x to open 1.275x and beyond to 1.266x. Not a very tradable wave to trade if you are not already in as is against the trend and most of the juice is already gone.
      
   2. Rejection of 1.280x with support of daily is strong loading area for longs targeting 1.296x and fresh weekly R atr 1.313x.

4. Daily:
   1. In consolidation mode. A roll above 1.287x opens clean swept in weekly without further retrace with momentum in the same Q/M/W level 1.296x. Lots of Support and noise in between 1.276x and 1.287x so nothing tradable in that chart for this week.

5. Intraday
   1. Reversal up on the weekly opening with most of the easy part gone with London. Crumbs left to strong R at 1.292x and with even more R overhead at 1.296x. Without news (ECB/NFP) looks very hard to break above this week. Only early trapped bulls can trigger a run to 1.281x and beyong 1.276x with stops triggered.
