I would move my stp below daily candle low now. or to BE - i see there is few pips only difference, if You bought it at previous close.

regarding charts - I use https://www.tradingview.com/ time to time

Closed this one. We have a saying in Estonia: If you want to catch a bird, then its better to have a sparrow in your hands then a eagle on the roof.

hehe yeah we in Lithuania have simmilar - better sparrow in Your hand than an elk in the forest.

Yes i know. But it was a risky trade so I better close it with a little profit, then let it go SL.

Im trying to get my mind to this point where I see why I shouldn't enter a trade rather then why I should. Right now Im in between: i see why I should enter the trade... I enter... and then I start to analyze if it was the right decision. But Im already passing lots of trades that I would entered in the past.

Only a+ trades in the future.

GBP/CHF was a failed setup. Went long 1.5195 but setup never reached a target. (we can see this also on H1)

CHF/JPY short after breakout and close under LCS was my fault, it hit the first FTA (low of the bar that broke through)

2 losses. Losses happen and we can learn from them, especially the chf/jpy because i need to know that the low an decision point was.

Was you aware of the downward sloping TL on the daily TF on the gbp/chf trade?

Hi Sanil,

I was not looking to that TL. I missed it. Thanks.
But even after the HCR was touched, price never reached the TL.

Definitely stay out of the market if you don't feel comfortable with the setup. With some basic understanding of order flow and market participants the PBs you highlighted can become just as valid. Defo stick with the basics as outlined by the seniors here.

Jarroo,

Can you explain if i did something wrong here? I went long at the HCR after the bar that broke through and closed above.
On H1 TF we can see price never hit the daily targets if we went long at the retest of the HCR (it hit the targets before the hit of the HCR).

The only reasons for me that this trade was more risky, is because the levels were already tested in the past, agree with that?
