Pulled the trigger for the first time today at the LO...

-2 pips

Will go hunting again in a few hours.

Hi Tony, and any others who wish to comment.

Here is this morning's entry. I waited for a two pip move, entered and got away with a -.02 loss.

I find it helps to draw a vertical line on the entry point ahead of time, then, as the trade opens on time, I draw a horizontal line to indicate point of entry to measure the two pip directional move.

I know its semantics, but I think technique in those opening critical seconds are life or death to the system. I would be keen to hear how others manage their fast-fingers in those opening seconds.

Good technique... do it manually as you are - it's the best way to learn. The lines are excellent. At least trace the vertical one it helps a lot. Minimize your risk at all times. Good job

I sold as well. Went with the direction which broke 2 pips from the open first - which on the Oanda platform looked to be down.
