EA is at a pretty pivotal spot here IMO. As you can see, the 1h 200ema has proven to be quite good support. I do reckon it could very well break this time around, but I said that last time and got a little antsy in the pantsy to start selling... got burned.

I'll wait for a break and retest before getting overly excited this time, but AUD is looking cheeky while Euro... not so much.

Alright, I guess I'm feeling generous tonight (or not, you tell me later...)

Just put on a GBP/JPY short: SL and TP visible on chart for all you lurking copy catters

It's about one-third the size of my normal preferred position size, but that's because I'd rather be buying dips on this baby. I'll be a buyer when it settles down in the 125s somewhere.

Risking 40 pips to gain 115 or 2.875:1 I'll take it!

Anything interesting on your charts? Although I greatly respect it, Ichi comes to me more often than not, by people that mention it. "2046" is an FF member that probably sees many of the same things you do.

Can I ask a further question in relation to instruments you trade...

Any you WON'T trade...regardless of what the Ichi says?

Oh...I saw what you did there. That's a ratio. I'm looking for 2.0 on my LT account. Will get itchy...and shook out...anywhere above 1.80.

280+ days there. Will wait around 1500 (days) for my target. <--or my stop. <<--not likely.

Am i the only one that trades with naked charts? What i post is the same chart i place my orders off of. Everything you need to see is on the chart already. No need for distractions.

Anyone ever want to talk long-term trades? Like 1-5 year kind of plays? I'd hate to start a new thread...for a few different reasons, but it almost seems necessary. Completely different dynamics.

My ONLY aim is to outperform my "RRSP's, RESP's, GIC's...401k's..." whatever its called where you're from. I find it fascinating...because it IS a challenge! BUT!!! So far...I've found it really rather easy to outperform what they've done with my money...in three different countries, on two different continents.

Its like a long-term "strategy-game"...but for fakking REAL! Its YOUR money! There is NO reset button! No...save for later. The bastard flows...every Useless tick of the day!

Have a tip...spit it...and why! <-- I guess that is the reason I don't really want to start a thread. Very different dynamic. Dial everything you do back by AT least 0.10%...in some cases 0.005%. Fun, though. Is my "video game" of choice.

I have one waiting ... monthly chart... CABLE... I posted it somewhere here... but it's an ascending triangle. It will probably be 6 months or more before the breakout and retest... I've never done a trade off of the MN.... could be interesting. What say you... 200-300 pip risk sound about right? Not sure i'm really into holding over the new year though, really makes my taxes more of a pain than I like to deal with.

Edit: Now complete with waterslide.

Actually, just now looking at that chart, we could actually get pre-emptive here...

If this month we close > 6232... Set your buy orders @ 5700 down too 5400... risk is the lows @ around 5240.

500 pips maximum risk, try to aim for the middle of that to bring it down to 250. If the triangle breaks... we are looking at 2.0. Even worse case scenario... 500 pip risk for 4300 pips. It will probably be more like 250 risk for 4550...

Classic reversal patterns. We had a really shoddy looking one on the euro today at the bottoms. I played this exact same setup on the euro for my counter play, except it was derived from the m15. Stops to break even before your even worrying about the triangle breaking out.

I think everyone has me on ignore. I don't think anyone believes cable is going to be at 2.0 on the break of that triangle.... lol. It's not crazy, the chart... she tells you what she wants... just listen.

2981.5 is the high last h close is a bullish hammer. 3001 or 06.. are here.. less sure now about 3049, but a r is near.. at 50/51
