I did for 100...just closed it.... above 3050...long's might be a good play...

Ok....

here you go...

Swing high + above the 72EMA is the SL i.e.. 1.0475 (35 Pips)

Target... Next RN 1.0400 (45 Pips) for the first half position... the second half will continue till the trend reversal..

The Price breached the 72EMA & closed below 12EMA which is as good as a bounce with a nice momentum triggered this entry,

So, is stop loss always 10-15 ticks above/below the pivot prior to entry?

I believe swing highs and lows plus PA will allow u to gain perspective on where to set stops.... and you MM as well..

Ended as BE as the price couldn't break RN...

Looks like a strong bear candle closed below 72 & 12 ema and then entry on the slight retracement. or did you enter before the candle closed?

Is that the correct assessment FX?

Nope...

I look for swing high/low, or above/below 72 EMA..

Hi Rosa

I had a look at your chart and the one thing that struck me was that it looked so different to mine. I checked my moving averages settings and when I found mine were correct as set out in the first post of this thread, I looked at yours.

In my view you have your 72 moving average set as Smoothed rather than Exponential on Close.

You will notice that this gives a different appearance to the chart and this ultimately affects the decision you make regarding a trade on this pair.

Just my view.

that was actually a late entry... which gave me a small retracement
