well we'll see.
ok.. i wish he would have called the 2008 crash before it did crash. if i recall correctly he was long commodities. i don't recall him switching to cash.. he may have done fine in gold. but he was in other things also. he is a smart guy.. more times then not, he is right. in the 2008 drop till the 2009 bounce, all news good or bad for the u.s. made the eur/usd drop. good or bad news and the usd strengthened. bb flat out said things are bad. in unlimited qe, its a panic. now just like in 2008, inventories are growing. once the shelf's are full.. the layoffs come.
before bear sterns crashed.. i was the little ass calling the senate and congress about the pending depression. even posted it many times in a old webinor i no longer belong too. these take a decade + to get out... the last one took 12 and a war.

the same is true in economics. in reverse. (the receiving side of any manufacturing process) you have to fill the coffers as you remove the cash. the coffers are filling slower. the cash is leaving quicker then they are filling, for 12 years now. this leads to a stopped process also. neither are good... its not rocket science
