You don't need those long term pivots for such a level.

If you have Yearly/ Quarterly/ Monthly and Weekly chart you can see that 1.296x is not only the yearly open/last year close as we were talking in the thread yesterday but is also very clear last important breakout point (I am talking a real break out point...those that even CB know that it happened) and very visible broken Support in all major charts....

well took a few out of it, scalped the bottom of the range a number of times, covered some losses that i incurred last night and am showing some profit for the day, so it ain't all doom and gloom...

would've been a lot nicer to have seen some follow through on the initial volatility move tho'...

oops, another 15 mins till benny, thought it was 7pm my time, my bad..

Still holding my one from last week. $75+ now. Dropped another in an hour or so before the show. $35+ right now. Pulled some at +$17.50. Another bastard just missed filling...tough to complain.

Have been looking to add short...didn't get a level. Still holding one from September 5th. If this pair is going to take a turn, will be easy enough to get in on.

All told...I'm carrying >10% in unrealized profits...in addition to 7.9% banked this week...this, I like!

Just using the profits to get into newer positions. Ready to cut the lot at any point and start fresh next week. See how she rolls.

Missed you shower of bastards. Had a nasty cold and has also been the TIFF (Toronto International Film Fest.). Had plenty of schmoozing to do with some production companies.

Really are perfect conditions for all-time highs in metals. Not saying today, but certainly wouldn't discount a shot over the coming months...or 2013. ES nearly a certainty, too.

OIL? Yikes. Hanging at $4 gas...and US embassies going up in smoke, people dying, flags burning all around the middle east...what storm? Oh...you mean the perfect one?

Ah well...money to be made here.

Well I was referring to this particular level (and btw we have it in our charts since the 2006 break up [only seen in Q and M charts])... the others pivots and etc are as valid or useless as anything else ...depending how do you use them and who is using them...

you are absolutly right sisse.

i think it was last week when a few of us were discussing swing trades and that has sparked an interested that i have wanted, and now feel like i have the knowledge amd experience to explore deeper. post like yous i just find amazing. i can see the same things on my higher timeframe charts but it doesn't register as well unless i see someone like you or gleneagles or others seeing what i am. sort of like a vote of confidence. your talking levels and that's what i trade ... just happen to be dustbin levels but if i got them wrong then i have a REALLY bad day just as you'll do

Have 5 open positions remaining across the board...all of them are now 0.1 lots...no more partials to pull.

The fact that two of them are Gold...one @ +$75 the other @ +$35 doesn't hurt the cause.
